They're still making money off it. I don't see this ending well...but stranger things have happened.

Looks really bad and cliché.

Looks awful joker looks terrible.

Its pretty cool, there's a really awesome Judge Minty fan film that I think everyone should see if they haven't already.

This one was much better.

Ugh that was a schlep, but I watched it all. 1/10 awful

Joker make up at the end was iffy.

Fan films can be a huge hit or miss. I always thought this was one of the better (Nolan) batman fan films. Make up on the joker isn't bad and best of all, its short.

The issue is people love to overly exaggerate his mannerisms.

Exactly. It takes any potential authenticity right out of it, even if it has the potential to be a good imitation (because it's never going to amount to what it's trying to be). It's the equivalent of watching a caricature. Within the first minute, the tongue licking and the "little team" took me right out of it, because it seems like it's...well, fake.

What is this - the 'let's all plug a different fan film' thread?

I watched the title one.. it started good, but got worse.

Like someone in another thread said - still too Ledger-ish & derivative in the end.

Embarassingly bad. Just terrible. And asking for money for that to boot?

The only truely good fan film I've ever seen that actually has solid acting is the two part "Escape From City 17" Half-Life fan film.

The Superhero fights are also ok. That Batman VS Deadpool is pretty well done.

But this, and also City of Scars, I cannot stand the people who are trying to play the Joker because they come across as pure fan boy fantasy and not even close to menacing.

Now these are solid and don't bastardise the material by trying to take on a main character :
