That's cool. Would prefer their non-robotic versions though.

Given the highly stylized nature of the character designs I wonder if any company, even ones with a track record for stylizing their figures like 3A, can successfully translate them into 1/6 cloth figures.

It would be costly due to their individual bodies. But I'd imagine about the same as making robotic versions of each one. Since each is a different mold.

I mean it would be difficult to translate the cartoony designs to a physical medium like 1/6 figures. NECA can get away with it because their figures are entirely plastic, but I think using fabrics will make it difficult to replicate the ingame look without losing some of that cartoony charm.

Oh yeah, maybe. Though I think if Medicom can pull off most of those anime characters they make. I think TF2 figures wouldn't be too difficult.
I'll keep my eye on these. I really like the world Valve has created so i'll try to buy most of 3A's Valve figs.
