I agree, would not only need a clearer picture, but a picture of the entire figure. Doesn't even look like he's wearing a tux either. Tux bond would be the only one I'd buy.

It looks like a good figure that I may get, but he just doesn't look like Bond. He looks more like one of his villians.

Hmm, if that's the sculpt that Craig wants redone then I suppose it'll still be awhile before we get to pre-order. It'd be nice to get him with the 5 Legacy Bonds.

I like it. Looks like him. After we've seen the movie, we'll see Bond in Craig's likeness.

Is his hair cut like that in the movie?

When you bumped this, I was hoping for another picture. Can't those MI6 guys do anything right? Don't they know we're waiting over here?

It doesn't look great to be honest, and if it looks like Craig, then that's quite a hard problem to fix! I do think he looks better in some of the action sequences where his hair is rougher and his face more animated than in the still photos - they shouldn't make the sculpt too accurate, and definitely give him more hair and make his mouth look different - firmer or whatever - but not limply smirking like in the picture.

Maybe the lack of response is just down to everyone disliking the sculpt in the image but not being bothered enough to say so. Plus the outfit isn't very exciting, although I'm sure it's not the final one.

Im not excited about Craig being Bond and I get the vibe alot of fans arent either. So why would they or others be excited about a figure of him?
If I read the article right it doesnt sound like Craig is thrilled about the "likeness" and has a say in its final look.
I like the tone of the trailers Ive seen but would prefer Hugh Jackman or someone else.
Who knows maybe he'll win some converts when it comes out but I dont think its on most peoples radar yet.

At first I just saw this thread and that photo and thought it was just a custom figure, and nothing more then a rumor.
Having now read the news article, it's much more about a confirmation that Daniel Craig will have a Bond figure made most probably by Sideshow.
But I really hope that's not it. I don't see Craig in that sculpt at all. If it is indeed Sideshow's version, the fact that he had them change it gives me hope that it will be improved upon before it's released.

Now Sideshow has to make us a Eva Green Vesper Lynd!

Sideshow will make a Craig Bond, but I don't think this is it. It looks like a Custom. I haven't seen Craig in this outfit in any trailer, so I think the Tux is the figure they will make. The article says it COULD be a pic of it.

It looks like the coat he is wearing in the b/w scenes where he talks about killing that one guy's contact, before shoting him in the head.

I don't know about the costume, but that certainly looks like Craig and it does look like a SSC product. But if they're going to ship anywhere around the time the film comes out, they better announce pretty darn quick.

I don't know. I think I'm with Craig. I don't think it is a great likeness from this pic. I wonder if he is a collector? He seems to be very involved in his figure (I know I would be if someone was making a figure of me).

I guess it could be that outfit from the trailer. I would have just expected the Tux though since it is Casino Royale and most of the other Bonds (besides Moore) have been done in a Tux now.

It does look as though it is a Sideshow figure. I mean there is no doubt that the figure they are talking about is the Sideshow figure but weather that pic is of the Sideshow figure is what I'm unsure of. Sideshow does need to put this up ASAP. I just hope they don't do a "in stock" order like some of the Universal Monster items. I like a little notice to prepare.

looks more like Steve McQueen to me.

It does have a look of Craig but from 'Arkangel' rather than Bond.

We shall see...
