Hulk's Peter David falls ills - buy his books to help

This amazing writer has done a lot of writing, for example for The Hulk comics. But he recently suffered a stroke and the medical bills will be huge for him. So if you're looking for a excuse to buy great books, look no further. I can personally recommend his Whedonvrse books and I look forward to buying some of his original vampire related novels.

My prayers are with him for his recovery. I read his X-Factor now and it's consistently good.

As far as his novels go, here's some info on each of the books. They seem interesting, for me not a surprise since I've enjoyed his comic book work for years.

From what I've read in his comic work he has a strong knack for really digging into characterization. I never feel like his characters just "go through the motions" which is easy to let happen when writing superheroes...he creates people who act and react according to what's going on around them and makes it fun. Just a great talent.

He's a genius.
