Update: Open beta starts on 01/23/2013. I ended up playing in the closed beta, and its everything D3 should / could have been. Open beta is starting in 3 days and now F2P (closed beta was invite or "backer/supporter donations only").

Yah I'm very impressed, Kripparrian (guy that got world first hardcore inferno D3 Diablo kill; aka guy who dedicated his life to this genre) seems to think this is a great game and really much more closer to D2.

Character build options are crazy in this game. Brings me back to the D2 days where you can actually play anything you want like a "teeth necro" or melee sorc. Unlike in D3 where theres only really 1 viable build in the harder modes. This IS what D3 should have been!

Looks like there are not a lot of dungeon crawler lovers here but honestly guys, this is so much better than Diablo 3. Its getting quite a lot of attention (Closed beta lasted for a long time and people have been saying nothing but good things about this game).

Open beta begins now, I hope you all check this out if you like this genre. Definetly worth your time. Characters created in open beta will not be wiped when game goes into final. Game will also stay free to play. The company will make their $ from donations and microtransactions for cosmetic upgrades, additional stash tabs, and absolutely nothing impacting the game itself (unlike how AH screwed Diablo 3).
