I know Mondo is all the rave... I know they have some great prints.

But we that love art as a whole, know there are many pieces out there.

We that have been caught in the Mondo wave have all felt the "****** Mondo" sensation take us over !

Well I wanted to start a thread in the same vein as the Alamo thread but different.

And this is it. I hope it works as we come across art everyday.

Well have it ! :)

Agreed.

I knew you would appreciate this thread.

I hope we can make it work.

Too many people get Mondo cause it's Mondo.

There is a lot of good art out there. Lets show it !

Subscribed! And agreed.

This is a place I have liked for a long time, as they often have Luke Chueh works available exclusively, along with another place down Melrose called Monkey King. Anyway, not sure of the exact nature of their affiliation or relationship with Mondo, but it seems sometimes things cross over with them. I'm always drawn to my Ken Taylor Alien print which I simply called up and asked for from this place, but is likely one of those cross-over items with Mondo or Alamo or whatever. But I love the hell out of that Space Jockey print, and it's extremely limited. 80, I think. Anyway, long spiel out of the way...

Here's the site which I'm sure you are all aware of already anyway. :lol

Mondo did have a show at G1988 at one point, although now that they have their own gallery space I don't think that will happen again. They do share some of the same artists between them. I just got a tube today from their Perillo/Whalen show with my prints for Temple of Doom and Big Trouble in Little China.

J to the JJ,

I have just one suggestion and request for this thread. I think you should keep the original post updated with the best main website pages indexed, like:

Gallery 1988: https://nineteeneightyeight.com/

Something like that. I would reference that all the time!

Make it so my brother! :D
