BATMOBILE 89

so thought id post the progress of the 89 batmobile im working on for fun. after looking at sooooooo many reference images this is what iv come up with. iv seen very few good 3d versions of this so thought id take a shot at it. hope u guys enjoy


my 1st attempt. gave it a night and realized it was bad and restarted

thanks i put so much time into this. in school i always wanted to model it but i knew i wasnt ready to do a good enough job. but now i figured i can do something good with it and im so impressed with how well it turned out.

Looks good but I did notice that the vehicle displayed at SDCC is slightly different at that jet turbine in the front. The nose is actually slightly slanted downward. Not sure if all the cars are like that but I did notice it on that car...if I remember correctly.

thanks ya the one hot toys is making i like it but theres some things off about it. but i think its because theres SO MANY pics of blueprints and movie screenshots that look different. the thing that bothers me the most is the headlights curved part that leads into the turbine. theirs are really curved and most reference pics its not too cruved

added the new rim caps, gas cap modeled in and pipes

test render in front of my dads shop

not exactly my 3d batmobile but the emblems i made for the batmobile i got made for my car that im calling the batmobile lol

Amazing work, Ruben. I'd love to see some sort of short film using that model. That's just incredibly awesome.
