There's a sequel in the works to Twins, the 1988 comedy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito. And its title? Triplets. But it gets better (or worse depending on how you feel).

"The story would reteam Schwarzenegger and DeVito as brothers Julius and Vincent, conceived experimentally, who discover they have third sibling," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

And who will play that third brother? Eddie Murphy.


Ivan Reitman, who directed the original, will only produce the sequel via his Montecito Picture Co. banner. The hunt is on for a new director, as well as writers to flesh out the idea so the film is still a way's off. Universal will distribute.

This would've been great a few years after Twins was released. The problem now is, Arnie is shriveled, DeVito's crazier (I know, but - see vid of him looking at porn in Spidey jammies) and Eddie's not funny anymore. :(
