New original game from the creators of Uncharted. Real-time footage rendered on a PS3, supposedly. Release in late-2012/early 2013.

The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience that blends survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. Abandoned cities are being reclaimed by nature and the remaining survivors are killing each other for food, weapons and whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a brave teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States.

an actual I AM LEGEND game would be awesome... setting traps by day, searching for supplies... hunting infected to study... developing the cure.

Could be fun. But it seems every survivor/zombie game types have good pre-release videos, but the actual game doesn't end up having the same tone.

Day one purchase due to it being from ND; and I agree, 'Ellen page meets I am Legend' is pretty accurate looking...lol

Looks quite good. Any game that make me want to watch the movie of it should be good.

I will say that I hope there's a demo. There was another game in which I LOVED the trailer, but didn't turn out that great and that was Dead Island. I hope this game's a little better.

Looks great, to be perfect (for me) the game need these things:

3rd person
Restricted Melee
Limited ammo
Non-survival horror cliches
Food/supplies hunting
Story/character driven
Day & night changes

The cinematic looked nice.
Like others I agree it made me think of Ellen Paige in I Am Legend / Walking Dead.

That thing that I'm most 'concerned' about (concerned is not the exact word) is that the design and feel are very similar to Uncharted.
It's very dialogue heavy action adventure... seems so.

So it doesn't feel like a huge departure for Naughty Dog.
