Completely agree. We chatted for a while about this and that. Then I asked about his sculpt coming out, it's actually available now, or at least it was for me. But that price tag is crazy. And in my opinion, doesn't represent the Michael Myers I saw on screen. It's good, but not to my standard. Plus he didn't do the dead eye on it!

I was going to make one, as I'm sure I can, but I have so many things going on. A good headsculpt takes months!

[Ive been busy with reworking a bunch of old Madbug sculpts. I think he uses enamel paints, I had to completely strip them down. Lots of fun though. =CONFIG]441087[/ATTACH]

I just hope a good one comes out while the interest is still there.

Someone should just 3d scan an stripper down tots h2018 mask. It comes from the movie mold after all.

Thank you very much. Work is still progressing. After several more rounds of tweaks the sculpt is done. I was super nervous about baking it (it's super sculpey firm) but it come out perfect. Now I'm getting ready to mold & cast it. Pics soon, thanks for checking it out.

That’s a really nice custom. Only major thing I notice is the mask looks more like a ‘78 with some scratches and such, but the eye sockets and the overall smoothness of it make it look like it’s not aged. Even though they started with a ‘78 sculpt to make the film mask, in closet shots in the movie it looks distorted enough to sell that it’s been locked away for 40 years. Some shots almost don’t even look like the Shatner mask was the basis.

It's a shame there are no good 1/6 H40 masks being made. I personally do not like the Legio7 sculpt. Doesn't look like the movie personification at all.

Yeah his is dope as hell. Very hefty pricetag attached to that figure, but worth it I think. That's art.

Ooooo I like that. He's only selling full figures though, right? That's an excellent revision.

It's a damn shame he won't sell it separately. I don't support recasting but that piece should be made available on its own. He'd make a killing (no pun intended).

The H40 mask is a tough one, I think with all the various sculpts being done, there's a lot of room for preference, and the mask itself looks different throughout the film.

For me, this is the sort of look I want in a collectible.



Then there's shots like this where it damn near looks like a clean '78.



While not perfect, I think NECA's prototype probably captured it best for a figure of any kind.





They really captured that distortion quality that shows the mask is aged.

To me, this one is a bit too smooth and perfect looking overall and feels a bit more like the mask's condition after 20 years, only halfway to aged.



This version looked more beaten up and worn, even if some of the overall forms needed work.



Then there's this one, which to me looks off in many ways, most of all the sculpts I've seen.



This is definitely one of the best ones.

And that last one is 1:12 scale!
