Here is my repainted Sideshow Kingdom Indy sculpt. I think I will use it on a custom Indy climbing out of the fridge!

Has it been that long? I always thought Raiders opened in late May like Star Wars. But I guess its because I saw it a week earlier at a pre-screening. I remember thinking how am I going to wait a week to see this again. I remember vividly that evening. I came out wanting to snap a whip and punch a Nazi.
 
The belts on my figure finally gave up the ghost, so I made replacements and I‘m much happier.

I never got to see it in the theater. I was born May 1st 1981.

And I missed the IMAX release a couple years back since no local theater was showing it.

That's all changing on Sunday. Local theater is showing Raiders as part of their blast from the past screenings. So the wife and I are going to it. Finally going to be able to see it on the big screen!

About time. I wonder if it will hold up on your 1,000th viewing. :lol

I hope its a good print and not like the one I saw about 12 years ago at a revival, filled with scratches and frame-jumps.

I'm assuming it's the same scan that was shown in IMAX. I'm excited to see it though.

As a birthday present, my son bought us tickets to see Raiders this Saturday at the Mann Music Center in Philadelphia with the Philadelphia Orchestra playing the music live.
