Thought I'd hop into this thread. Big Resident Evil fan, I'm hoping to put together figures of major characters that currently aren't available, or are available but are absurdly expensive.
Chris, Barry and Wesker in STARS uniforms is my primary target: a head for each has been obtained, same with a body and some accessories, but crikey are those vests hard to find: I've been searching up and down the internet for years for cheap ones - I'm a budget kitbasher and ain't spending 50 odd smackers for a single vest - but to no avail. Enter however the MoeToys STARS Wesker set. Where in the blue flip did that thing go? I've never saw pictures of it in-hand, and all that Google finds is a blog post or two, an AliExpress listing that says it's in stock but upon clicking is unavailable. There is a listing on TaoBao, consisting of the clothes only, for 670 Yuan (about £70.). Can be dyed for other characters but I've no clue if it's trustworthy to order. Anybody ordered it there before? Hell, did anyone manage to get one at all? It's very strange because even back when it first came around in 2015, I was never able to track down a place to buy it.
