Some more with darker lighting to really make the sabers and new weathering stand out!!

Holy crap!! That Hoth X-Wing Pilot Luke is one AMAZING piece.. Could I please have your recipe for it? I'm trying to put one together.

Here's my re-worked custom Hoth Luke figures from Sideshow. I color corrected the vests on both and I did a battle damage custom using the exclusive BD head sculpt.

nice wampa. what did you use to dye the hoth jacket and how did you do it

Thanks Grevious!!... I used what others suggested which is the Tan colored Rit Dye. I then dry brushed in some tan colored paint slightly a little further to weather it a bit and make the new color a little more dominate.

I love the snow/ice look on the vest and the peaked cap. What did you use?

I wish the pinkish paint on the face could be toned down (doesn't look that natural) but really nice weathering overall!

Hey man, thanks and yes I realized after seeing the face through the unforgiving eyes of a zoomed in camera that the pink is too dominate.

I am going to tone it down and redo it. Nothing like a little rubbing alcohol can't fix.

Weathering looks nice. Dye job on the vest was well done. Good stuff man.

What did you use on the peak and vest? I like the icy-coated look on the peak.

Thanks man. A while back I had checked out this site where a guy was customizing Hasbro Star Wars figures and he stated that what he used for the snow effects was White Gesso. Now I'm not sure exactly what the stuff is but when you dry brush it on the icy snow effect does look good.

Great video review thanks for sharing, your battle damaged Hoth luke looks great.
