The implication of the question on the Talking Dead is that Shatner would have to play himself.
It won't happen of course but amusing to think about.

Depends on whether or not your cable broadcasts "radio channels." Congress wants their $$$.
IFC and Sundance (on Direct TV at least), are in the 500s with the other premium channels.
I could see it happen on the Spin off. We have no rules with the spin off yet. Who's to say its not somewhere where celebs are. It would actually be really cool if they could get a well known celebrity to play themselves as a series regular. I mean how cool would be to be wonder if next week Shatner might be getting killed off on Walking Dead?
Celebrities are people too. They'd be going through an entirely different set of circumstances of the zombie apocalypse than these rural Georgians of ours.

On TW they are in the 100's with other regular cable channels and we do have radio channels but I don't tune into them . I'm a sirius Man .The FCC is all backwards anyhow.kids are more likely to see or hear provocative material after school when they are home rather than during school hours or daytime hours .

You gotta admit it could make for an interesting character for a while at least. I mean a Robert Downey Jr or Charlie Sheen could be freaking hilarious until he gets eaten. Even if they only got them to sign on for a handful of episodes or a full season it could be a fun thing to see on the spin off. Stuff like that would at least make the spin off fresher than just another rag tag group of average joes surviving the apocalypse in a different part of the country

While I was hoping (and expecting) more of a blood bath I really like FINALLY seeing kick *** Rick back. It may take a couple episodes but he's gonna F them up. And I sure hope Beth is ok somewhere.

Nice character moment for Daryl in the end of the episode. He was very uneasy with Joe's group, but immediately accepted the new blood on Maggie's word. "Now they are our friends too". Someone was in the two stacked storage containers. After two viewings it was still hard to distinguish the shouts but it sounded like a male and female. The boneyard was pretty sick and seeing it should clue Rick in to what's happening there pretty quick. Long wait for October begins.
