CAC runner up----honestly don't see how Castle Grayskull beat some of these guys like Major Header and RA-JAR below!

I'd buy that in a heartbeat! CGM was part of the "wear the vehicle, wear the building" fad sweeping the empty skulls at Mattel the past couple of years. A cute tribute, but nothing compared to the more original designs that were submitted.

honestly,I wouldn't get your hopes up for 2015 or 2016 and beyond....I know the line isn't finished yet,but I can't see the line going forward after this year other than what is shown at SDCC....With Higher figure prices certain, plus higher overpriced shipping costs, with 1982-1985 MOTU lineup completely done(the most important years of MOTU),then Folks sick of DR,C and D list characters now being called A-list?,when they're not really. Not to mention that trying to sell figures you don't want even at cost or less is very difficult. The Best of this line is basically done after this year. Are these figures now worth $40-42 each after shipping then too?? I think 2015 is going to be a tough sell and who will be the big Draw now to sell subs? Tung Lashor should be this year.Nobody in POP will do it,and Dragstor,Multi-bot and Ninjor have no power, but can just be cherry picked day of
I think MOTU has peaked and the interest is all about to die

I think it'll be okay in 2015. Even if it squeaks through. After that... well, it's all gravy to me.

2015 WILL happen. it may Just squeak past... but the rest..... beyond that... we shall see.

so certain are you...it will happen if Mattel pushes it through being under it's goal.I see and read alot of people dropping out of the sub after this year. That is going to matter

If the Etheria sub could make it, then I think it's fairly plausible for Classics to last through 2015. There'll still be some vintage characters left over and He-Man/Skeletor/Hordak variants for 2015.

Figures are currently $25.....next year they'll be $27 and $28-29 day of sale....plus the ongoing higher shipping costs...that extra few bucks will be a big difference again in whether folks keep buying into this line or not...

Cherry picking seems like the way to go without having to buy crappy characters like Mara and Huntara next year

The only way 2015 goes through is if they have been playing games about the 100% in previous years, which I think is likely.

You do have a good point there. Cherry picking is what I'll be doing too if 2015 happens. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I just read that minicomic that come with Unnamed One. I thought the art was solid but that story doesn't really do it for me. Stuff was just happening. and way to go to reduce Castle Grayskull....the focus of the entire story that has always been....just pushed aside for some weakly designed castle on Trolla? What the hell man?!

The bad guy characters seem to be interesting. They are pretty good designs i think. But the good guys are just aweful. Han Hammer looks good but that's about it.

Toyguru's Robowoman is in there too with those good guys...aweful is right

I don't mind Robowoman too much. The net, the eyeball, Man Crystal along 'the fact that no one thought 'Man Crystal' could be the title to a gay porn franchise, the Grayskull space man being an actual character, why laser lights came after the NA outfits and not before, and the fact that Castle Grayskull doesn't contain the most power in the universe.

There's a lot to dislike here!

Jesus, there is even another figure called Crystal Boy from Figma:

That Figma is actually really cool. Didn't NECA make a Bowie from Labyrinth a ways back? How is it I never bought that?

Ra-Jar actually feels like a MOTU figure. The eyeball and net chick really are depressingly bad.

We have a slew of utter rubbish heading our way I fear.

Yeah, Ra-Jar does look cool. I might make an exception for him, like Draego-Man. Otherwise, I am not into Scott's imagining of He-Man's future...
