Statue Weta Workshop's The Balrog Statue

Just confirmed by Megan in S&F that the height is 52cm and the base is 44,5cm long.

He's one big dude. Such a freaking awesome piece.

Any idea on release dates for Balrog and Smaug? I know they ain't gonna be cheap so I'm not even worried about that right now.

That's impressive. Missed out on the original so this will be a definite order depending on price.

They have release date periods on them but nothing like that. I can try to ask.

Yes for this and Smaug please. Ask if they be releasing them through SS and if there'll be an exclusive please

Josh, could you please tell us what time period is on the tags for Balrog and Smaug? The images are blurry and I can't really see.

This is a terrific looking piece and no doubt in person looks even more awesome than the pics. I have the original one issued a decade ago along with other versions so will probably be content with those and instead use my funds for SMAUG and other new characters.

But for those who came into this late and were not able to spend two grand for the original - this should be a must have.

Thanks Gwindor. Apparently Smaug is Q1 2015 as well. It will be a very expensive quarter I think!

Very expensive, but at least that gives some time and we don't have to worry about a po coming up soon.

I am not so sure about that, Azog was up for preorder in August last year and he had delivery Q1 2014.

If they go up for order this year, definitely will po Smaug and quite possibly (probably) Balrog as well.
If they don't ship till Q1 next year I'm good with that.
