1/6 Soldierstory：1/6 French Special Forces

This is supposedly based on Djimon Hounsou in the French movie Forces spéciales (Special Forces).
It doesn't look much like him to me, but since this isn't licensed, that doesn't really matter.
If only the face was a bit more harsh looking, it might've made a good Roadblock with a bigger body.

Funny you say that, I just scrolled down to post that it looks like they based this on him.

Yeah. After the first few photos I too, thought of Djimon while I am in fact unfamiliar of the movie this was based from. The likeness perhaps is debateable, but still a very good and very life-like sculpt overall. It's the quality I've always wished SSC's Joes had, not some eyeball gimmick that ended up looking like cheap non-moving PERS. Also, the tailoring and those boots are killer.

Sculpt would do a great unmasked Black Panther sculpt, IMO, or Luke Cage with added 'stache and those Oakleys.

I can see Hounsou in the sculpt. The skin is too light though. I like the sculpt. May seek out the nude figure and head.

An excellent likeness IMO. This may be my first figure from Soldier Story.

What a great looking figure. Some great details in the costume and gear. It's a bit like Hounsou.
I too might make this my first full Soldier Story figure.
