Zoom in on any of these pieces with a human portrait and you will lose some fidelity. Most of us are viewing these head sculpt at 5-10 times their actual size on ou computer monitors. This looks damn solid, and you aren't going to get much better unless you increase the scale or pay 2-4 times more for a better paint job. He looks awesome here.

Yeah that happened with Dutch too, looks beast. No one sits 4 inches away from these to look at them.

Its a human face carved in stone. If your looking for a photo like resemblance you are looking in wrong place. This thor is looking awesome. Haters stop hating

You're right... definitely not gonna get much better, even though one company can miraculously nail his face down at 1:6 scale...

Scale doesnt matter. Its in a completely different material done with a totally different process

The original was bad, this looks a bit better but...
If the proto looks bad there is absolutely no hope for production pieces.

Take what's shown, reduce the paint quality by 50% and that's probably what you'll receive.

I used to look at my Thor PF from across the room and wince

Yeah unless they totally change the medium you can't get the HT texturing, and SSC WAS going to try something like that, but it was a failed experiment.

They really should start using a plastic or silicone for PF heads, prices are creeping up and it's still the same old techniques.
