in the defective arms is the paint peeling off from the entire arm or just the shoulder area?

Just the shoulder area. Rest of the arms are fine.

i think the paint peeling or paint fading will eventually happen to all Thor figures because the armpit/chest area is hard plastic and the shoulder comes in contact with that hard edge when you move it, unless you do it very carefully or you dont pose/move the arms at all

I haven't but supes looks bigger than thor. He's definitely bigger than IP. Both figure will fit in the detolf but it has to be a museum pose & without the stand. If have time I'll take a pic of them side by side & maybe create a supes vs thor dio.

I just jumped on the waitlist for this guy, what are the chances it will convert? I would have gotten on sooner but the last time I tried it wouldn't let me because of delivery restrictions to my country or something.

Look what greeted me upon opening the replacement body from SS. This was taken seconds after opening the box with no movement of the arms at all on my part.

Not sure I can link it because of the rules, but this is in stock on another site which commonly sells HT and other collectibles.

On an unrelated note - I'm not sure which to get, this or the full armor version/cloak. I'm sure I missed that debate, but welcome any advice!

looks like he was sunburnt and is now peeling. Damn..

My Thor came today and he has the skin issue on his right arm. I checked it before I even moved the arm. The left arm is fine. Overall, though, I'm super happy with him. It was my first time seeing/holding a Hot Toys in person, and I'm impressed with the amazing details!

It's going to take me a while to get the hang of posing/photographing these figures, but here's a few pics:
