Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Mamushka Luthor is going to put up quite a fight. Chasing Clark through the halls of the Daily Planet, Scooby Doo style, with a Kryptonite rolling pin and whatnot.

In a way, DC beat Marvel to the punch with the whole Stan Lee thing, since Leahy's been appearing in Batman movies since '97.:lol

Lee appeared as the jury foreman in The Trial of the Incredible Hulk waaaaay back in 89. :wink1:

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Bob Kane was set to cameo in Batman 1989 as the cartoonist for the newspaper, but he wasn't around so they dropped it. His "Man-Bat" cartoon and signature is in it though. In every Batman film after that, Kane's wife had cameos in his place. In Returns she was a random citizen commenting on Penguin, then in the Schumacher movies she was that annoying tv lady, "Gossip Gerdy". Then starting with Batman and Robin, that senator was in the Schumacher and Nolan films.

The first ever cameo in comic movies though was Superman: The Movie. Kirk Alyn (first live action Superman) and Noel Neill (Lois Lane on the George Reeve television show) have cameos as Lois Lane's parents when she's a little girl when Clark is racing the train.

And the whole idea itself really comes from Hitchcock. But the first consistent cameo from comic bookdom goes to Stan the Man who started it in 89 (same year as Batman). Shame about Kane though, that would've been badass.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Movies you mean? That's unknown, probably none at this point.

It's just usual for studios to register a **** ton of domains so nobody beats them to it and tries to sell them back to them later.

Yeah, it seems like the Wonder Woman movie has been teased forever and every attractive brunette has been linked to the role.

It would have been gold. Think of how appropriate that would have been.

Alexander Knox would have called Bob Kane a "d*i*c*k".

If he'd lived long enough though, TDKR would've killed him with the blatant bastardization of his baby. :lol
