The colors are good. But I would prefer this statue without the blood. Clean version would be my choice.

As it is now with blood on it I think the helmet switch option would have suited it more (shame you did not do it) you could have had some blood splattered on helmet (like Leonidas & achilles) etc..As it is now the face is all clean pretty with no blood, but his body, sword, bucephalus has blood which does not make much sense.

Still looks epic. :clap

I like a little blood on Alexander, as long as it is on the lower portion of his body. No need to get blood on his face. It conveys a sense of him cutting enemies down from on high as Buchephalus charges into battle. The more I look at it, the more perfect the blood spatter looks to me.

I also did a little research (Wiki) on Buchephalus: A massive creature with a massive head, Bucephalus is described as having a black coat with a large white star on his brow. He is also supposed to have had a "wall", or blue eye, and his breeding was that of the "best Thessalian strain.

Yeah I changed my mind. It's perfect. Blood is good ! :lol And I am sure Arahom will complete this great statue with an extra package of options :wink1:

Hi guys!

Yeah Bucephalus had a white star on his brown and blue eyes! I found that strange at first and did some research about horses with blue eyes, and they all look kinda weird, almost all white, so i did the best of my capabilities to be truthful to his description.

As I explained George, I tried the paint job without any dirt or blood, but it did not look good. Alexander being all white and the horse being all black, created too much of a color contrast, and both all clean and shiny looked too artificial, so my decision was to add some blood and dirt/mud splashes coming from below, as if he was fighting while riding Bucephalus.

I really hope you guys like this piece as much as I do. So far this is my favorite and most anticipated piece from ARH Studios, and I'm truly happy with the results.
