I'll join in! Got mine yesterday, and I honestly love the piece itself, but I've got some paint issues, too. I want a second opinion from you guys to see if I need to mess with getting a replacement.

Also, if I just got a partial refund and tried to fix some of these issues myself, as long as I did good work, would that affect the value of the statue?

The original Spidey Com I had, was much better paint apps than this. I wasn't expecting that. These paint apps are akin to action figure paints. disappointing...

^ All small issues but they add up.
No harm in sending an email...

Yeah, none of them are deal killers for me, but it's definitely sad that these pieces are getting out with so many simple QC issues. MJ was flawless.

Think I could fix some of those lines with a matte black model master acryl paint and a fine-liner brush? I'm a decent painter, but I don't want to hurt the value of the statue. :(

At this point you could prob screw something up royally and improve the piece. :lol

I'll never use it...

Yeah, that's what I thought as soon as I saw it. I just never liked it. It didn't fit with the character for me personally. Felt it only works in a separate display with just the ladies. Doesn't matter though, the masked head looks great. Pics look great Collectorcol.

I wasn't expressing my confusion in a total mass comparison I was just stating its clearly lesser comparative mass to a premium format.

Relax no shrugging shoulders necessary

You're a jerk and you should feel bad for your posts.

You know we're just having fun. We're toy collectors. Immaturity will ensue. :) This collecting gig is addictive!

Are you being ironic , I was. I'm a builder who was trying to use big words I'm not easily offended dude .
I find forums confusing ,
I'm Going back to the porn websites ,much easier to know what's what

Received mine and all in all very happy , colour is clearly darker than preview photos and the
box has been through the wars though and I like a clean box (OCD perhaps)
Looks way smaller than a premium format IMO .

Before I came on this forum (only forum) I wouldn't scrutinise my collectibles and enjoy them for what they are so that's all I'm saying

Hope everyone else has the pleasure I have

Woo hoo. My 100th post:yess:

It's 1/5 scale. PFs are 1/4 scale

Okay, dudes. I sent a nice email to Sideshow Returns Department about the issues with the paint work. I really do love sideshow, I order everything from them, so I don't want to be a pain, but if I can get a statue with less issues I would be very happy. Or even a small refund to make up for me having to fix some of this stuff myself.

So pissed off. I had to cancel this but forget and it shipped, as soon as i got the E-Mail i rang SSC. The lady told me it was in Memphis and was being re-routed back for a small fee, i agreed and rang today to chek the rogress of my refund only to find that the lady never rerouted it and it's here in the UK. I'm not bloody paying to send it back when it shouldn't have left
