I know I'm in the minority but I like the first Ivy better and will probably pass on the repaint unless it's some crazy low edition size.

Can't blame you considering you already have her.
Personally loving the Green but production pieces might look very different.

It will probably sell out before these are in hand unless it is a crazy high ES. We will just have to take a chance.

Because if it's going to be a rare piece I can possibly trade it for something I missed out on like the GL PF.

I will jump on Thursday unless it is a TBD ES, EX or not. No point in that anymore.

At first, I was "meh". Now I'm more "hmmm..."

I kind of like the green look, and if they pull a very low ES... Then they are really tickling me...

I will be shocked if there is no TBD.
I think set ES on reveal a thing of the distant past.

Well, usually they try and boost the interest of variants ("repaints") by setting the ES low prior to, or at the time of PO. At least, I believe they've done similarly with recent variants.

It's probably just me but the green prototype doesn't look like an actual painted statue. It looks to me like they took the picture of the original prototype and tinted it. It looks too vibrant and perfect, fake. I guess we'll see on Thursday when they have the PO up but something isn't right to me about it. I would hope that Sideshow would not do that though.

To be honest, SSC have been very "cheap shot" with their recent announcement, using photoshopped illustrations and concept art as promotional material. It's kind of lame, I find.

Yea, if that's what they did here it's a little misleading. It could be the prototype but it just looks unnatural

i'm hoping that will be a trend that will continue. hopefully they've figured out that would at least be fair to the collectors.

CBG, I just threw out the idea that in my opinion, it looks like a tinted photo, rather than an actual prototype of the new green statue. I don't think anyone really knows if its photoshopped or not.

Gotta admit I thought it was a concept art the first time I saw it.
