Matt, do you know anyone that can make a custom basketball court like Redgie had made? The United Center! I'm looking to have one made in a smaller scale.

Been very reluctant to pick up the kobe 2.0 because I feel the first release is still damn good to me. I finally was able to capture a fadeaway shot and have the ball in the air. Here's an updated display just to share.

I would suggest only get the version 2 head sculpt. The jersey color looks very washed out in the new one.

Except the skin tone shades between the 2 versions are different (v2 looks darker). So putting a v2 sculpt on the original Kobe figure might look a bit weird if your looking closely at it. I'm not even 100% sure (didn't check) if the neck connector pegs are the same design. The colour difference might not bother some, but I thought I'd mention it.

The v2 jersey is a bit disappointing. The main thing I think peeps mention is the colour being off (I agree), but to me, it's the "not so clean" cut around the collar & arm holes (should have been cut cleanly at the purple lining) that might be more disappointing. Kinda makes it look rushed & cheapish. Doesn't seem like anybody really mentions that though. It's pretty noticeable to me.

I thought it was worth getting the v2 figure. Different sculpts, better shoes, proper NBA stand, & maybe better body. But remember, Kobe is my fav NBA player. I'm happy to have both versions.
