Re: Hot Toys DX 03 speculation...

Shoulda been Captain E-O, but this looks pretty great.

And to all those disappointed, take this as a break from shelling out $200 bucks so soon after the recent deluge of awesome figures. ...
  4. Re: What is the most money you have ever paid for a single figure?

However, I bought a full size Creature from the Black Lagoon sculpted by Mark Alfrey for WAY more... but man is it...

The reason they care about these things is because they stand to make a significant amount of money off of it if it does well. Actors are all about their image. Most of the things they do are...

Come on guys! Let's have a little faith in HT. They ALWAYS deliver. I have no doubt that the final Aldo figure will be amazing!

Sorry for speculating:rolleyes: It makes even less sense to me that HT wouldn't sculpt the expression we saw in the movie.

Re: Hot Toys - Inglourious Basterds

Obviously, you didn't read the part in several of my posts, where I said I would really like an Aldo figure, even though I thought the film had problems.

The Aldo character was a lot of...

Or maybe we'd just like a filmmaker with this much knowledge about film to occasionally exercise some restraint.

When something is repeated again and again, the excitement and interest is lost....

Re: Hot Toys - Inglourious Basterds

I've seen all of Tarantino's films and went into the film knowing it wouldn't be an action film.

I think it was extremely masturbatory. Instead of gunshots, he used words.

    And in the end, it...

Re: Hot Toys - Inglourious Basterds

See, I thought it's lack of focus is exactly what made it monotonous (for me). Each sequence had a pay off (usually a great one), but the whole film didn't pay off for me.

    Again, I feel that some...
