Where did you find yours Pix?

For me, it was when Vader and Luke are communicating via the Force after Luke is rescued and sitting in the Falcon. I remember feeling a bit sad when the Falcon takes off into hyperspace and Vader...
  3. Re: Kaustic Plastik: ATHLETIK MUSCLE BODY - NEW PRODUCT COMING IN 2013!

Hey KP, these body designs are brilliant. It's great having quality choices in this market other than Hot Toys. Only some minor constructive suggestions is if it would be possible to improve the...

Re: Official Sideshow 1/6 ANH Darth Vader PHOTO Thread

For those of you using the kp-02 body, how did you attach the helmet, gloves, and boots? I haven't found a neck adapter with a ball joint small enough to fit and the wrists have yet to come off with...

Is the ttm20 a direct copy of the dx10? And how much is arm articulation improved compared to the mms arnold body?

Re: Hot Toys DX Bespin Luke Skywalker

If you look at each feature of the face, the you can tell the sculpt has not changed. The softer features are likely due to the camera being used and not the sculpt itself. The paint is obviously...

...which both appear to have been downgraded in production. We cannot expect custom quality paint apps, but the tailoring should remain top notch at this price.

Re: Hot Toys DX Bespin Luke Skywalker

Okay, but if the prototype head doesn't have a noticeable gap between the eyes and eyelids, is it safe to assume that the PERS system can be shifted forward on the production model to close the gap...

What gets me is I have no interest in the weather vain. I would rather that money go toward the quality of the figure itself.

Re: Hot Toys DX Bespin Luke Skywalker

Here's a good hi-res pic of the proto. You can see that the fabric has been downgraded as well. The proto jacket had a softer texture to better replicate the actual costume.

Re: Hot Toys DX Bespin Luke Skywalker

I have to respectfully disagree here. The Sideshow Vader is blatantly out of scale (larger than 1/6) and the misshapened and high placement of the helmet are areas that could have easily been...

Re: Hot Toys DX Bespin Luke Skywalker

Yeah, Alter Ego is $10 cheaper, but requires a $30 non-refundable deposit, just like ordering from Sideshow direct now. I don't like supporting this new policy.

I pre-ordered this from BBTS so I didn't have to put down the deposit. Did anyone else find a better deal for the regular edition?

I am curious what the details on the PERs eyes look up close. Anyone have an extreme close up pic of the eyeball? I would love to see it!
