I like both, but I must admit to some schadenfreude from seeing the ST get roasted.

Yousa point is well said ajp, as usual.

Despite the indifference towards the ST on these threads, remember it has a healthy following among millennials - and there'll be hell to pay if Reylo...

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - THE RISE OF SKYWALKER

That's a fair ranking for moviemaking quality.

As for actually caring about the characters, for me it's:

    1. OT
    2. PT
    3. ST

There's a fine line between the Tico Maneuver and the Holdo Maneuver.

Every decent movie needs an aiieee! :lol

As long as the Kenobi series features this (canon) scene where Luke's Skyhopper saves Uncle Owen in mid-air, I'm good:

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - THE RISE OF SKYWALKER

Yeah, I'm ready to jump off after the Skywalker Saga. I'll have a passing interest in The Mandalorian, Kenobi and some future projects, but I fear my SW obsession is at an end. :monkey2

Re: QMX Star Trek General discussion thread

    Good job nanjin!

I just had a flashback to Moebius Models' planned line a few years back. Did QMX pick up the rights after them?

If Palpatine was outsmarted by his old master, who gained his revenge through Anakin and eventually took over as Snoke, I'd buy that.

I always felt it was heavily implied in ROTS - either Sidious or Plagueis.

    Re: The Matrix 4

Is it possible Reeves and Moss will just be "avatars" for new characters? Maybe as a homage?

Like how The Doctor often bases his regenerated appearance on people he's met before.

The recent comics explain the red blade can only be achieved by "bleeding" the kyber crystal, which only the darksiders do.

In fact you could almost argue ESB was only as good as it was because it featured the return of known and loved characters.

Re: Sideshow Hoth Han Solo (Echo Base)

Most of us in the pro-blue camp don't dispute the actual coat was brown. It's whether you think the figure should represent how it appeared on-screen.

    Let the debate continue! :horse
