    Other filmmakers have tried to change it, but the Romero style zombie will forever be the best.

    I'll assume you're referring to the '78, even though the '04 remake wasn't that bad.

    By the way, he made a really cool movie not about zombies called Knightriders, with Ed Harris and Tim Savini. My favorite non dead or Creepshow Romero film. Worth checking out if you haven't seen it
