looks awesome! but the William Adams one is still not released and the Oda Nobunaga one isnt even listed yet on Coomodels website,
so i guess this will take a long time until it gets released?

it took them one year to release and ship Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura, the William Adams one was announced
in September 2017 and the release is sometime between January and April 2018?

so i have some time to save more money for Nobunaga.

It looks great! (And I like the idea they are selling parts separately!)
    One thing still bothers me..
I guess he had more than one armor and wore different style over time, but are these even the same guy?

This is his statue in Japan

Maybe he wore more traditional style earlier and changed to more European style later.. I don't know...

most of the pictures for Nobunagas armor that you can find on google image search and so on are made up replicas.
those are different interpretations from different companies and artists.
as far as i know, there is no official Nobunaga armor. even the cape is made up.
there are only one or two armor sets that really did belong to Nobunaga but he didnt use them.
pretty much everything else is made up by manga artists, movie companies and so on.
the western looking armor pieces are also probably made up because they just wanted to show how different he was.

there are no proofs that Nobunaga wore any of those well known armor sets.

Wow.. if that's true, what's the point of getting any of these....
Still there are armors claimed to be belonged to him. Maybe as a deco piece.
How about this one? painting of his last moment..

yes, this one / the coomodel armor, is a armor set that he could have worn. but he probably didnt use it all the time because something like this is super heavy
(way more heavy than the normal solder / samurai armor sets) it was the only armor that could protect you from firearms. so you walk around like a tank.
this armor is also 100% japanese, no western parts.

all the other armor sets that he had, were probably just decoration and presents and so on.
and everything else was probably made up by someone, then someone else took parts of that as inspiration and made a new one and so on and so on.
all of the "western style" armors are like 99% made up to show Nobunaga in a different style than the other lords.

Actually in that painting, is that suppose to be Nobunaga in the armor or is it Mitsuhide Akechi and Oda is on the right not in armor? I think it might be a painting of Honnouji when Oda was betrayed by Akechi and forced to commit suicide.

Youre right. In that painting To-un shisetsu zu, Oda Nobunaga was the one on the far right committing seppuku as Akechi Mitsuhide was on the way to kill him.
