Just curious to see if anyone here bought the Pumkinhead maquette? It looks like they're shipping now. Also another kind of sad thing,,, they're making 150 of these and they have sold only around 50 according to the low status update.

This was the biggest question mark for me for Sideshow to jump on a license that pretty much no one cares about. Seems like wasted time when they could be working on a new Alien Maquette or some other popular piece. I bet the Pumkinhead took thousands of man hours to create.

well i'm a HUGE fan of P-head (one of my fave Lance roles) but i think it's the price point that's driving fans away. u KNOW there's a helluva lot more Pumpkinhead fans than 150, but how many have $850 to blow. granted there are alot more Alien/Pred fans i'm sure. i think the only reason they made that maquette is because Winston was involved. i read once that Phead was one of his favorite works.
I am a fan of Pumpkinhead but not enough to pay that high amount of price for a maquette. Also, there is a NECA or other company producing a Pumpkinhead for under $100. That could probably another reason why fans are turned off by the SS version.

I may order Pumpkinhead...I am waiting for some pricing.
The SOTA version will pale in comparison and I guarantee the paint job will not look like the proto.
Since SWS is involved with the Sideshow product, my guess is it will look incredible.

I love Pumpkinhead as well and actually preordered this one when it first went up. But then ended up cancelling. Still definitely want to end up getting this one, but will have to wait for a fantastic deal.
I have always loved the design of this character. Don't know what it is but I can't ever pass up watching the film (the first one of course :lol )
