It's new. There's no waist articulation. Just like berserker's but different motives.

its a predator, that furry garb must have come from a very trophy worthy kill...like a lion's crotch or something.:lol

lack of articulation is the nail in the coffin for me. the lack accessories, and most likely the most bare predator HT has released, makes it that boring.

It is final. Sideshow will probably get some (will sell out extremely quickly though). Other than that it is to attend one of the toy fairs in person or ebay.

I think this new body is definitely a "preview" of sorts. I too am interested to see how tall he is in comparison to the Super Pred body.

It's one thing to be inaccurate, it's another thing to use a P2 head for a P1 predator and pretend they're the same thing... HT for sure wont use this head if/when they do a classic.

Noboby knows for sure, but these are for the Asian Toy Fairs only from what I've read so far, so they won't be at SDCC or anything. I'd say if you really want one, you could go through Toys2.net or one of the Asian Ebay retailers, but you'll end up paying more. Then again, it seems like a lot of the 10th Anniversary Hot Toys exclusives are now being offered in the U.S., so you never know. Maybe if you wait six months, Sideshow will distribute them.

Yeah, I've gotta eat my words. I was a naysayer claiming that another Lost Pred would look silly on the new body when placed next to the older ones, but I can see this fitting right in.

Tha's what I meant by new headsculpt. I think that the mouth area makes it look different enough along with the new paint to call it 'new.' Also, the inner teeth are different. Compare them to the head in Sprig's sig.

Toys2 could be an option as it was for the 10th Anniversary items. We've also seen some of those items like Michael Jackson and Friend showing up at U.S. retailers just now. I'm not saying that's what is going to happen with this, but it is a possibility.

He was released in the U.S. and Asia as a summer convention exclusive. I think they charged $350 for the Batman/Scarecrow pack which was only available in Asia. Their markup wasn't that bad on the 10th Anniversary figures.

I'm pretty sure eventually they will do it. There's still room for improvements.

Everyone is complaining its very bare,it doesnt really bother me. actually kinda like it, its different as opposed to some of those god awful AVP Preds HT released a while back. They just seemed weighed down with a rediculous amount of stuff imo They could have added a shoulder cannon though. I think the sculpt is awesome and the paint apps too for that matter. Looks cool. Only problems I see:

1. The leg gauntlets are either really big or the legs are really short because the knee guards aren't supposed to touch the top of the leg gauntlets.

2. The skin color needs to be more yellow, less white.

well I think the Classic will make up for the P1, but because HT is so busy with new characters, I don't see them ever going back to the older ones. We should just hope Neca makes them in 1/4

eh, the P1 head isn't so good, but at least they pretty much nailed the Elder. in any case, based on the pics so far, there's no way to swap the armor on this new body. your only hope is HT makes the Classic on it. i'm hoping his headsculpt is better too, but it might be possible to just repaint this one and swap the dreads and mandibles into a P1.

this could totally work for the P2 and most of the losties though. do it!

I'd pay 200$ just for the headsculpt. This thing looks amazing.

Wow I got on here to find this cool freaking figure. Man we've got one just like it and I have to say way to go Hot Toys. I can see they know the body on the old P2 style needed to get a redo and I can't wait for a new P1 and P2 in this new style. I think this is really great and I'm hoping they do many more from P2 just like this. I know the articulation isn't as fun but this looks more life like and real and as a fun I want this. Great job HT.

This looks so much more like Kevin Peter Hall style of Predator and the new head sculpt is a big improvement. P1 will be so very cool and I'm sure they'll give it to us. Can't wait to see the new P2. Great job on this HT.

This little blurb is listed on Hot Toys' facebook under the new convention exclusive Batman post. It seems that they are doing something at SDCC with this guy. Maybe a pre-order or something. I wonder if they have enough time to handle attendee/non-attendee orders for this at this point.

There's word but no "official" word.

This was attached the the new batman figure release. So it seems likely that Sideshow will offer these.
