For the record, I still very much want and would buy a 1/4 PF Selene. I highly encourage everyone reading this to contact Sideshow via phone, email, fax, telegraph, morse code, smoke signals and in person to tell them how much you want a 1/4 PF Selene. :D

Selene is the only thing i would certainly buy, but a Lycan would also sell awesome for this line.

I used to be against an Underworld PF in favor of 12" but now I'm thinking I want a Selene PF to put next to Buffy... count me in.

Regardless of whether it may be in 12" or PF format the sales will be great. But, I do want a Selene PF and Lycan.

Both Underworlds combined grossed less than VanHelsing and it was considered a failure. Granted, that was largely due to it's budget, which was considerably more than both Underworlds combined - but it had greater marketing exposure, starred a well known actor and was critically received about the same as the Underworlds.

But hey - I'd buy Selene (or Kate Beckinsale for that matter) in any form they'd want to do.

Basing it on box office doesn't really make any sense, especially comparing it to a movie no one really liked like Van Helsing. Even comparing it to a movie people did like is a stretch. Would a Dakota Fanning PF outsell Selene because War of the Worlds was a huge success? Of course not. Underworld doesn't have like a huge cult fan base or a huge mainstream one, but it doesn't need either to sell Selene - people would buy it because it's Kate Beckinsale in skintight leather. Same reason a Milla Jovavich from Resident Evil would sell, or Charlize Theron from Aeon Flux. And Aeon Flux at least was a bomb.

If the Anna Valerious from Van Helsing were a *good* figure, it'd have sold.

I would have bought it, my Van Helsing is lonely. And an awesome PF to boot!

I'm sure a PF Selene would sell as easily as Seven of Nine. Although the R&D would probably be higher?

I don't doubt they could easily unload 1250-1500 of a PF Selene. Maybe an exclusive with her overcoat from part 1?

I was a bit disappointed that they didn't do Dracula or Frankenstein's monster from the movie. The Van Helsing figure is amazing - and after a quite severe hair cut I like the Anna Valarious figure as well.

As for Underworld - if they got it I'd like to see a transformed Michael, Vampiric Victor and Vampiric Marcus as well as the unmissable Selene. I still need to pick up another Anna to customise into Selene.
