Alter Ego Comics Update - April 5, 2004

BIG HONKIN' ALIEN HEAD BUST PROP NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER - ONLY 3 AVAILABLE!

New from 20th Century Fox comes one of the most anticipated prop replicas, the life sized 'Alien' head. This Alien head was cast from the original FOX molds and remastered by Hollywood Collectors Gallery for an edition size of 500 pieces. In 1979 artist H. R. Giger created what is considered one of the most frightening monsters of our time. Hollywood Collectors Gallery has gone to great lengths to ensure the accuracy of this prop replica. This 36" replica is cast in fiberglass and the translucent dome is resistant to breakage. The inner jaws and the lips are created using latex strips just like the original piece. The exquisite paint and craftsmanship of this piece make it a prize of any collector.

Held as a hostage by the Turks during his childhood, this 15th century Romanian nobleman was released after his father Vlad Dracul was brutally murdered. After reclaiming his father's throne in the province of Wallachia by force in 1456, Vlad Dracula began a reign that was short but extremely bloody.

If you were one of his many enemies--or even just a beggar or common thief caught on his lands--you could almost certainly count on a lingering and painful death! Prince Dracula's favorite means of execution was to have live victims impaled through the chest on sharpened stakes set into the ground. On one occasion he actually created a terrifying "forest of the dead" when he had thousands of Turkish prisoners executed by this method. It is little wonder that the bloodthirsty "Impaler Prince" of Wallachia should provide the real life inspiration for the fictional vampire Dracula.

Limited Number of Hellboy Giclees and Film Prints Available Below Retail Price

In conjunction with the creative talents behind the comic and movie characters of 'HELLBOY,' Sideshow Collectibles presents a series of four limited edition fine art collectible pieces. Each piece contains two Giclée prints, a conceptual/production character sketch, and signatures of director Guillermo del Toro, Mike Mignola or, in the case of the Hellboy Glicées, actor Ron Perlman. Each print is limited to approx. 250, and are scheduled for release in May 2004.
