This is the first I've heard of this...

haven't heard of this. is there a link? is the helmet from the first or legacy film?? definitely want to see this.

It was announced a couple of months ago by EFX in their newsletter. It's from the original movie :

If you're talking about EFX 3D render, I think it'll look better in real life especially if they add good light features.

I like it so far. That blue translucent material we see looks good. Wonder if it's lighted. Still looking for more infos.

Great pic, Coriolis. Cannot wait to pick this up as I am a complete sucker for anything original Tron. And I think this helmet will undoubtedly have a light-up feature.

This is pure speculation, no hard facts to back it up at all. But I'm putting my guess in the neighborhood of $400-$500. Or maybe that's just all I'm willing to spend.

I'm thinking $250 is more than fair, but I usually end up on the low end of the guesses.

My gut is telling me $399, but again--just a wild guess. Will be very interesting to see how many are going to be made. Either way, I absolutely love the 1982 Tron and put the art design right up there with many of the classics. Cannot wait to get this.
