Not particularly scammers, but they've been out of business for over a year yet their site still takes orders(you won't be charged, but you'll be left wondering).

Here's one to add:

cicatrizbooking

I doubt anyone will buy from him since the only feedback he has is my negative one. But either way I won a Star Wars figure off him and he never sent it and never responded to emails. Paypal sided with me, but the account was empty... same old sob story :monkey2 Here's the auction: Targe Clone Trooper (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=101609&item=170000281012)

BTW: This thread might be better somewhere in the commerce section...

i've already asked Dave to transfer this thread over to commerce and have it as a "sticky" but he said it is better here in Permathread since not only it deals with ebay sellers but also other transactions as well.

I have this one to add to the list of bad Ebay sellers:

undagroundtoys

Here's the reason why (http://www.goliath.li/elessar.htm)

But I guess you would avoid him anyways looking at his recent Ebay feedback (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=undagroundtoys&iid=)

Another very bad experience I've had was with Ebay seller:

itsallgood_here

Okay guys, this really stings. I bought a master replicas vader helmet from
TAMEDART located in Canada for $600. He scammed me out of my money and I never got the helmet. I shut him down and he popped up again as TAMEDARTATWORK. I got ebay to shut him down and he popped up again as LUCAGIORGIOPRODUCTIONS. That is his real name. This guy is a thief. I had ebay shut him down again. BEWARE OF THIS GUY! I joked with decadentdave that if he really wanted to rip off people he should scam them out of the falcon and lo and behold LUCAGIORGIOPRODUCTIONS had one for sale. I contacted ebay and his other buyers and stopped his auction. He is a con artist, a liar and a scumbag. He uses master replicas as his bait. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

What the hell?!?!?! LAMEDART is back?!?!? That scumsucking thief keeps turning up like a bad penny. We've shut him down 3 or 4 times already and somehow he keeps opening new ebay accounts. We've reported all of his known aliases to ebay and IC3 but apparently nobody cares to press charges or investigate him for fraud. I say we hop the next flight to Thunder Bay Ontario and beat the money out of him!

Here's an Ebayer to avoid folks: izombiexxx
(at least I would, now knowing what i know)

This fellow won a dead figure off of me, and I shipped it out promptly and
he got it and left me positive feedback. Was a bit flakey right from the start,
concerned that the figure wasn't the one in my pictures, and I told him several
times that the one he was getting was identical and perfect. Fine and dandy.

I was away this past weekend, and just returned yesterday evening, and was
going through my messages and e-mails trying to catch up.

Here's message 1 to me from izombiexxx:

Date: 9/7/2007 4:04:34 PM Eastern Daylight Time
please leave me feedback - izombiexxx

No problem! Starting off fine. Fair enough request.

Here's message 2 to me from izombiexxx:

Subject: feedback
Date: 9/7/2007 7:11:26 PM Eastern Daylight Time
please leave me feedback - izombiexxx

Hmmmmmmm. Repeat request. Not a problem yet.
But then it goes downhill it goes from there..........fast.

Here's message 3 to me from izombiexxx:

Subject: hello for the 3rd time...
not to be rude but i shouldn't have to ask you over and over to go take 5 seconds and leave me feedback as i've already done for you so please do that - izombiexxx

Here's message 4 to me from izombiexxx:

Subject: hey you !!yea im talkin to you!!
i left you feedback and i would like the favor returned it's part of the processof the transaction SO WHY DO I HAVE TO ASK OVER AND OVER? - izombiexxx

Here's message 5 to me from izombiexxx:

why wont you leave me feedback?i did for you and would appreciate it if you did the same this is very unprofessional FEEDBACK is a part of the process - izombiexxx

Here's message 6 to me from izombiexxx:

Subject: i can email you from now until the end of time
feedback heard of it? its part of the process i left it for you and expect it in return it blows my mind that you wont leave me feedback i paid you promptly i put up with your extensive varification process and left you feedback so go clicky and leave me feedback - izombiexxx

Here's message 7 to me from izombiexxx:

Date: 9/10/2007 5:39:33 PM Eastern Daylight Time
feedback heard of it? its part of the process i left it for you and expect it in return it blows my mind that you wont leave me feedback i paid you promptly i put up with your extensive varification process and left you feedback so go clicky and leave me feedback - izombiexxx

All those messages were over the span of 3 days when I was away.

Folks, this fellow has his feedback set to private due to several negatives.
The verification he speaks of was me asking him to show his feedback so I'd
know who I was dealing with. He did change it temporarily to public, so I
could see his comments. I trusted him and sent the item, still feeling nervous.

I suspect he is a late teenager to early 20's fellow based on his actions, but
that is just guessing and definitely could be mistaken. In all my years on Ebay
I've never had somebody this insistent, rude, and jerky regarding feedback,
which I always leave, and would have left a positive feedback for him, were
it not for his repeated and increasingly rude messages.

Keep in mind this was for a relatively inexpensive 12" figure. Imagine if it had
been an expensive bust or statue?! I can't imagine how difficult this guy would
be to deal with. Definitely one to avoid were I you, and I'll be adding him to
my blocked bidder's list.

Parting question: I've not left him feedback for his purchase at this point.
He has left me positive feedback. Based on the repeat messages listed above,
what should I do/would you do?

1) leave him no feedback
2) leave him positive feedback
3) leave him neutral feedback
4) leave him negative feedback

His feedback rating is now set back to private due to previous negatives left for him.

Be very wary of this one folks.

I would just not leave him feedback. I think a neutral or negative is unwarranted since he did complete the transaction.

galactiboy

I think you could leave him a negative, or neutral because he began to harass you. Not leaving feedback for a few days is not a big deal, but a tendency towards sending ******* emails (especially I can send till the end of time) is one others might want to be aware of... even if he blocks his feedback.

It'd be funny to leave him a negative, and put in it: There, feedback's been left... happy?

As a side note it seems the ones who block always have a reason, I've only sold to one blocked buyer and low-and-behold he had an issue and demanded a partial refund :huh

Guys, I have a question for you. I have just sold some gameboy games and received a ebay alert stating:

We recently canceled bids for the buyer:

ground55control

Our records indicate that this buyer recently attempted to complete a transaction with you. Since the buyer is not currently registered on the eBay site, you can consider the transaction canceled if you haven't already shipped the item.

If you've already shipped the item, we recommend taking the following steps:

1. Contact the company that was used to send payment to verify whether or not funds have cleared.
2. If you find that the funds are fraudulent, contact law enforcement in the buyer's area. Be sure to be as specific as possible, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and any other information that you may have about the buyer. If a detective is assigned to your case, please ask him or her to contact us so that we can assist in the investigation.
3. Contact the shipping carrier to determine whether or not it may be possible to stop shipment on the package.
4. Consider filing a complaint with The National Fraud Information Center (NFIC). The NFIC compiles reports of Internet fraud and relays that information to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. You can file a report with the NFIC at:

Looks to be a deployed serviceman and he has paid via paypal. From the paypal message:

Note:I am serving with the armed forces in the middle east and my address does not enter properly into ebay. Please ship to: ..............Private information removed by mod....................... Thank you very much.

Tell me what you think. I have only sold a few things w/o issue but not really sure what to do. Thinking I should just wait and see.

Ebay user 75tosh.

This guy is in Italy. He bought my black cat exclusive and paid for snail mail, 4-6 week shipping. I explained to him even before the auction ended the wait time and the possibility that it would take a little longer since canada post's rules are that it's not shipped until it leaves the country.

I had this issue with a shipment to Australie. The guy filed his claim near the 45 day mark with ebay. He was gracious enough to understand that I was doing everything I could, but he needed to cover himself. I filed the lost item claim, and they told me it was not late yet due to when they classify it shipped. I told him and he was understanding. Regardless I had to file again because it was still not there but that got it back on track.

Anyways the first idiot emails me 3 weeks after I dropped it off (2 weeks since it left the country) at the post office saying he hasn't got it yet. I explained to him again and emphasized how long it had been. He said ok and everything was ok.

The next week he files a claim with paypal. They have now refunded him his money and my black cat is still in the mail on it's way to him. Ihave messaged him and expressed my dissappointment with all of this and that I hope he is honest enough to pay me back when he gets it or send it back to me but I'm not holding my breath.

Needless to say either make this guy pay for express shipping or tell him to take a hike if he wants to bid on something you're selling. He's an absolute idiot and a major pain in the a$$.

Excuse my venting.

I know a lot of people have good things to say about AbsoluteComicsandStatues. Not me. I bought a Valkyrie Final Fantasy statue from them a few months back. I told them if possible, I'd pay a bit extra for faster shipping since I was in a brink of moving apartment. In contrast, he replied that the shipping will be a bit late. But I thought it was okay since he looks like a good guy and he responds really fast to my questions.

Anyways, it arrived about 10 days before I moved out. I did not have time to check the content. Around 3 weeks later after everything is settled in the new apartment, I opened the statue and it turned out that the wings are broken and the paint job is just terrible; it was therefore undisplay-able. I contacted him a few times through eBay and after several days, no responds. So I searched around for his personal e-mail address and mailed him through there as well. Still no replies. So I was thinking he is ignoring me. It was too late by then to ask for refund from PayPal. This guy just burned me for $300.

Well, learned my lesson the hard way.

Sorry to hear about this. I think when talking about high end items and international shipping there should be insured airmail packages with tracking number or Express Mail options only. Thus you can see where the package is all the time and it is also insured...

Actually, I can personally vouch for '75tosh'. He is an absolutely trustworthy buyer. I've sold him TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars worth of Sideshow merchandise, including extremely rare items such as Gray Hulk vs Spiderman and Classic/Retro Spidey. I've never had a single issue with him. There is no reason for any seller to place him on their blocked bidder list. You do have to remember, he is Italian and his English isn't the best. From what I understand (If I can translate what he is saying), it took the seller 20 days to ship the item from the auction date. I'd like to see the tracking info and a link to the auction, before I believe he's totally at fault.

Even if he is, I'm absolutely sure he will pay for the item, in full, if and when he receives it.

The tracking on international stuff here in Canada is spotty at best. Once it leaves Canada, the tracking seems to go into limbo until it arrives in the destination country.

Here's the tracking number.
CC090711341CA
canadapost.ca is the website
ebay listing http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&item=170324119813
I provided this to him but I'm not sure he knows how to use it.

The only issue I have with their service is this rule that they don't consider international shipments mailed until it leaves the country. This usually takes between 1 and 2 1/2 weeks, so their 4-6 week quote on time is actually 6-9 weeks roughly. Like I said this happend with my Australian buyer. I was in a huge panick with him though because his shipment was my celtic and asian elder predators which he paid almost 1000 dollars for.

Thanks for talking to him though Fly. It's much appreciated.

oktubreuno, also goes by frequentbuyer21 DO NOT SELL anything to this piece of work. I sold him 2 statues and sent them insured. Well, he gets them and says they are chipped, so I tell him to file insurance complaint with USPS. So, he blames me, saying they were like that when I shipped them and I in my stupidity didn't see them. Well, I had them displayed for 2 years and I KNOW they were not chippped in any way. Also, how do I knwo that he didn't chip them himself? So...he wont file and expects me to knock off for that, when I argue with him he now says that they also have paint issues, NO crap dumba**....they are hand painted statues for Sideshow, expect some variences in the paint like any normal person would. I am so frustrated, STAY AWAY form this loser. Also, he may be hard to avoid since he admits to me that he has over 20 ebay accounts he uses. I would post his real name but do not want to break any rules here, just want my Freak friends to be warned of this jerk.

TOYGLOBE Reason (http://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10934)
TOYS AND COMICS EXPRESS

Hey Toyglobe does suck. They took my money and never sent me what I ordered! I tried contacting them over a half dozen times and they still never sent it. I have yet to get my money back, and this was about two years ago.

As for crappy sellers on eBay, oh man, there was this one guy......Ack, can't remember his name. Sold me the Jessica Rabbit big fig but never sent it. I ended up getting my money back through PayPal...I was confused because he had great feedback, but he wouldn't respond to any of my messages and over a month had gone by without receiving the item. I'll see if I can find him again... Nah, I lost track of him. This was a long time ago, before I started posting here.

I have to throw a rant out here about ebay member: reptilespawn

Which I think is the ebay store for Hollywood Cinema Collectibles.

Anyway, they had a buy it now on one of the SSC Babysitter (black haired version). The buy it now price is $125 with a best offer. So I decided to toss the offer of $50 out there assuming they would either, decline, counter offer or accept. Either one of these was of course fine with me. Yes, $50 might be a low ball offer but I would assume like most I deal with they would count-offer.

So I get a decline offer, ok that is fine they don't want to counter off that is there business. I ignore it UNTIL I get a message from them saying:

"You have been blocked and reported. Good luck with your account."

I am shocked so I respond back asking why. I receive this response:

"You have continued to throw insanely low offers on my auctions after being asked to give reasonable or realistic offers. You have clearly ignored my requests. I feel that you are just playing games with my eBay store and putting a stop to it is what I have done."

Whoa, so I am quite shocked on this. This is what I sent:

"First off, you never once asked ME personally to give a reasonable offer. This is the first communication I have received from you. Secondly, I only see one time I put an offer out to you on an item. If you don't like the offer then don't put a best offer or have an auto decline.

Blocking or "reporting" me really shows your maturity. I gave you an offer on an item for what I thought it was worth, not your ebay gouging prices. You don't see me throwing a hissy fit like a 2 year old because you declined my offer."

I looked at my offers and I only sent ONE to him and even if I DID send multiple offers to him in the past I never ONCE got communication from him indicating he thought me low balling him was unfair to him and I should send in reasonable offers.

So after that message I get this response:

"Go away. "

So seriously, this is how this guy deals?

Anyway just had to rant and I am not hiding anything. You can disagree with me that I was being unfair but whatever. Definitely won't be buying from this guy ever.

^^^^ Wow. Tell them good luck with reporting you. You made ONE OFFER???? Big deal. And if they don't like offers like that, then they have no business putting a "best offer" option on their auction. I've put pieces on Ebay and received offers that were 1/4 or less than my BIN price. I decline the offer and leave it at that. It doesn't bother me if they offer a mere dollar. I actually get pleasure out of clicking the "Decline Offer" button. :lol

Thanks for the heads up. I've never heard of them or dealt with them, but I don't really care to now.

Yeah ive had the same response from this guy when i made some offers to him for stuff to the point where he came back and starts insulting me over my 'lack of knowledge ' about figures and my offers were' insulting to him' etc. By treating people like this he's only hurting himself. The idea behind making bids for items is that you put in your own bid and the seller accepts or declines. Apparently he doesn't understand this process and felt the need to add his own commentary about how great he is and then started to insult me over my offers.

I mean if he doesn't like bids being placed on his items why place them up for bidding. Naturally one can assume you will get low offers.

Exactly if you cannot take the good with the bad, why put the best offer option on there.
