Never really liked kids. They're loud, dirty and need to much attention. And if this entertains them, then I can say they have bad taste too.

Kids....pffft :pfft:

Just saw that live at Star Wars Weekends this past Saturday. I think some of you take these things way too seriously. It was a blast and the crowd loved it. Ahsoka dancing to Avril Lavigne's "What the Hell" got a big ovation and C-3PO doing the "robot" brought down the house.

I'm glad Disney realizes that SW can still be fun, and funny.

But...but...shouldn't the ewok have had the stormtrooper helmet drum set instead of the jawas?

I am so disappointed with this apathy towards accuracy!

Not that I mind Avril more than any other thirty something, but that song? Not really a good message for kids. I have no problems with the characters doing the dancing and funny stuff to entertain the young ones but as a parent, I wouldn't want my Daughter dancing to that song.

Damn, I'm turning into an old fart. :slap

Seriously, Star Wars is so over-exposed and whored/sold out now it's as if it would give you a blow job around the corner for 5 bucks.

Absolutely no sense of boundaries or shame.

Sadly I have to agree with that. I am so burned out on SW right now its sad. Hopefully I'll get my spark back when the Blu-Rays show up.

nothing embarrassing about a billion dollar franchise. there is something for everyone within the great star wars machine... take what you like, but respect what others may prefer...

Honestly, I don't think there's anything that different about Star Wars today. Maybe you're the one that's changed. I actually think the nadir for Star Wars merchandising was around the time of the Phantom Menace, because it was just everywhere, on practically every product whether it was appropriate or not.
