Lost Roles of Bill Murray

I love Bill. The list of roles he was apparently offered is something I had no idea of and if true, is insane. He could have been the biggest actor alive from the look of it. Not that he isn't great and well respected but wow.

Steve Martin has Han Solo

Yea Murray as Batman and some of those other roles is laughable. Han Solo? I honestly can't even imagine him with Ewoks or Jabba, it would just be too damn funny.

I would have liked to see him in Animal House, Rainman, and as Wonka though.

I think Cruise was the better choice for Rainman.

Murray would have been a complete failure as Batman. For Bruce Wayen, Keaton at least was a good looking man at the time. Murray never has been.

Lot of great roles on there, but I dont think Murray would have done any better than anyone who was eventually cast.

I also find it hard to believe he was ever seriously considered for Han Solo or Batman.

And Wonka was pure suck, no one could have done anything good with that.

Kevin smith and Tarantino were offered to direct "Speed' both turned it down.
Will Smith was offered the role of Neo.
Dave Chappelle was offered the role of Bubba in "Forest Gump". he turned it down because thought it portrayed black people wrong. he later regretted it.
