Thanks Les! Yeah... if you can notice... the hair strands on the forehead? That is the DA81 version of a LW classic. The hair strands, unsculpted on the forehead.... really had fun with that, tried my hand at your technique. :lol

The Anakin and Tom Hanks heads are inspiring! And the Punisher one is great too! I thought that was a pretty underated movie and a lot better than Daredevil and Elektra, which really should've had Frank Miller at their helm. I imagine quite a lot of happy collectors when they get their heads back!

Thanks Paul!! Yeah, Sarah's jacket was tricky.. but in the end I was almost more proud of it than the entire set I did for you. The corduroy was tricky, as the material wants to fray... but I really think it came out looking fantastic.

:lol Yeah, it took a lot of silver detailing... but really not bad.. only took me about 30 minutes to do. Of course I was excited, so that made it easier. ;)

Holy crap!

I'll start with Sarah Connor, she's great! That head looks a lot better with skinniness of the body covered up. The ouftit and particularly the jacket are awesome!

The coor sceme on the GR bike works a lot better than the gunmetal Hasbro gave it and Reese looks promising too! Can't wait to see him finished!!!

WOW, that figure is going to rock. Irish, you need to get him that sweet bow and arrow too, I loved that whole final punishment scene of the film, Thomas Jane was a great casting selection, it's tragic where the films are going is so off that Jane can't back them up and pulled out, but from what I've read from him, it sounds like he'd have loved to reprise the role but I guess P2 just wasn't shaping into a good representation of the character's origins. Josh, nice work on the Jane head, can't wait to see this figure finished by you both, good collaborative work here gents ;)

Thanks guys! He was a lot of fun to do, and a challenge as well. The material Medicom used on this Clone was pretty soft so I was worried on how well it could take the paint without wanting to chip off... but it really surprised me.

Me too! I have a cool reworked Jason Pt 6 from Josh, an Ep III Obi head from you (AND NO EP III OBI BODY AND CLOTHES YET!!! :banghead) and am trying to get something done from Mikey, and for Mikey, and so I have some stuff from you guys too.
Way behind in that one, but not willing to give up just yet.

Super work on the stuff Josh. I really like the newer Ani head. Is that a regular SS Ani? Unretouched? He still looks great under the brush my man!
Love the tears look. You've about done every emotion that dude has rendered in toy form now. Except total joy I guess. No head allows for that. :D I guess your Ghost Ani is as close as that will get.

Darren... I agree on the mutual work thing... I really want to have you paint something up for me one day too, maybe get one of those Obi Wan's and use it on my Mustafar battle set. And then send off your Anakin head for Mikey to paint up. And do something for you guys in return. That would really rule.

Les and I have already traded off and probably will in the future, cause we live so close... I would love to do the same for you guys. We should work that out. :rock

And Les, I agree... I really DO want to make a charred up Anakin figure one day. Maybe just take the hair off the sculpt and resculpt his burn wounds. Burn the clothing and add charred flesh... that would be sweet! :devil

Yes... I think it is... It's the shirt Paul sent me, not sure where he got it. A Punisher fig obviously... must have been the Marvel Masterpiece fig.

And thanks again Josh! It was a pleasure, really had the flow going that night when I finished that figure. I painted nearly 80% of the battle damage in one sitting, just had a good vibe and didn't want to lose it. One of the best times I have ever had on a commission. :rock

Thanks Daniel! The hair took a lot of work, I painted about 4 layers of color from dark to light to get that "reflected light" look that short hair has. It was a gamble but it really works in person...:rock

Thanks guys.... The Kurganator was the product of a silly day. I got some of my Terminator parts in today and am only short the jacket and headsculpt, so I tried it out on the only big body I had.... the Kurgan.

He's holding the spot and is the only one badass enough to wear the clothes besides Arnold. :lol

The pants were bleached to a lighter shade to match TPM Obi. The white inner tunic is actually a Dragon scarf wrapped around his body and tied in the back. :rock

Your clones look great! I've always held off on the Clones because reconciled height among my figures is important. But I've done the research and it turns out clones should be 11.17 inches in height without helmet (Temuera Morrison being 5'7). So I'm guessing around 11 1/4 inches with helmet?

But in your lineup the clone doesn't look too far off. Perhaps closer than what we can expect with Sideshow, knowing their history.

Thanks guys! Yeah, the Medi Clone looks to match up prettty nicely with the shots you have shown. Just shy of a full 12 inches. I think it works for me, really well actually. I'm sure SSC will just have them on the regular body.

Yeah, scars have always intrigued me. For some reason when I was a kid, all my heroes and villains had scars... and it just seemed to me to be a warriors passage into maturity. If you had em, you've been places and seen some serious Sh**. :lol

And yeah, I most certainly think she could intertwine into your story! Hell, that was the basis for her actually... when I started. A villain for her to focus a mission on, all the while your Countess pulling the strings in the background... manipulating MB into a trap. :devil

Good day today!! I almost finished Hudson, Luke, TPM Obi, another Shock and one I could not wait to snap pics of for you guys... A custom made zombie... LONG time in the works....

The head and body are Dragon Neo... Just cut the head up, sculpted wounds, burned the head in several areas to get realistic decomposition and tied it with a string to simulate the spinal cord....

The coat, pants and shoes are from CSM (X-Files) and the shirt is from a Hasbro GI Joe.

Thanks guys... Yeah, this weekend was very very busy. I wanted to get as much done as humanly possible and I did. finished about half of the work I had and am at least started on the rest of it. I had a lot of Clone buildup and wanted to get through with those as fast as possible so I put most of my energy on that, as well as the Hudson head for Superactionguy.

Quick question are you using any tungsten correction for your pictures... some of the shots are a bit yellow which is usually due to lightbulbs. You can get rid of it by changing the setting on your camera (if it has it) or of course getting non-tungsten bulbs.

I got the idea driving home today. I have been growing out my facial hair and I looked into the mirror and said..."Damn, I look like an evil Obi Wan Kenobi..."

That is a cool idea. When I got my Jedi Luke done with Les I talked with him about making Luke with Sith eyes. Thankfully Les talked me out of it. :lol

I think an evil OB1 would be really cool though. I say, Go For It Josh! :rock

Hi-Jacking the thread for a moment here.

It is clear when watching this that Obi-Wan attacks Maul out of sheer anger.

Remember, anger, fear and hatred, paths to the dark side are they. Once you start down the dark path forever will it dominate your destiny.

So taking this a step further Anakin is innocent of everything he does because Obi Wan started down the dark path and dragged Anakin with him.

ANAKIN WAS INNOCENT!!!! Sure he murdered lots and lots of people and may or may not have had a selfish temper BUT...who knows how it would have turned out had Obi not attacked Maul out of anger.

Other evidence leads me to come to the same decision, for example the MUllet that Obi sports in AOTC. Everyone knows that the mullet is Devil's Own Haircut and a product of nefarious barbers in league with Lucifer.

I have other 'evidence' too that Obi is EEEEEEEVVVVVVIIIIIILLLLLL.

He's a murderer, arrogant, a drinker, an abusive authority figure, a sneak, a burglar, a bully, a seperatist, a voyeur, an adulterer, a child kidnapper and a liar. From a 'certain point of view' anyway.

I have always thought that the reason a padawan was able to kick Maul's butt was that Obi-Wan was strong in the darkside. It gives me that much more respect for his character that he was able to become a true master of self discipline, ergo a true Jedi. :duh
