Friggin' Sweet Josh! That Hicks is sick, man. :lol And Drake's smart gun is insane, completes the figure, the attitude is so important with these guys. Don't think we need blood with T 800 though...

Oh and What a Great Tour! OMG, my Lightup T 800 made it in too! Great stuff there Josh, all your work looks really f'n superb on film like that, sometimes it's so hard to capture with pics but when you see your work on video like that it really shows the figure well.

My bet is the HT STONER head. It's what I used on mine. Not sure if Josh used that one, or the one that came with HT Hudson. Be cool to know which.

My Hicks is a FML HT Stoner head with DAD! Don't know about Josh's, i think it is also a Stoner head, both figures are amazing pieces of Art now. Just Stunning!

As for "my" Hicks....I used the Stoner head, the Hudson is the same and I am working on it right now. The only thing I don't like about it is the material. It's softer and flexible, so it flares at the neck a bit more than I like and paint that goes on wants to be shiny.... But I am working through it. :D

That one is tough.... I used a lighter and burned the spots slowly and was careful not to go too far. I even pressed the hot metal to the pleather to mildly burn some areas. It was easier the second time, the first time it was Hell. If you do it... be very very careful.

Frontline Head. Electronic eye conversion with real metal eye rim tooling via Stan Winston Photo reference by Hurricane who also extended the neck length and mounted the head on HT neck post to fit properly on a HT T 800 Body. The Gargoyles have already been cut to fit, it will be insane.

Yeah guys... this week has been a week for catching up, that's for sure. I'm really getting close to being done with a whole LOT of it. Should be able to get most of this cleared out by Sunday if I am lucky. Just wish I had more time to devote to it all. Really was fun, even making the little box... putting the tape on it and cutting it open to give it a little more authenticity. The eye rolled back in her head and the neck stump....:lol

One note of caution: Be Very careful removing the light-up head from the body! The neck post connector (bottom piece) could separate from the head and those wires are a B-itch to reconnect to their contacts if they pull loose so remove it from the bottom neck piece up.

Totally D, Josh is setting new standards of kick-assitude!

The Technoir jacket is a GI Joe Combat Field Jacket with T1 accurate pockets, working zipper and waist drawstring. You can find them on ebay.

The light up head conversion was done by the incomparable Hurricane, the dude tooled a real metal eye rim using Stan Winston ref book. The Police Station head was Frontline with extended neck sculpt to match the total height of the HT T 800 head and will be mounted on the HT T 800. It will kick major ass!

MY Technoir T1 is now complete, thanks to Josh and is another Figure Master/Dark Artist Production, My second (My HT Hicks was the very first)

I will post pics when all is complete with breakdowns so you guys can make your very own too!

Thanks guys!! Yeah, Paul.... the jacket would not bleach white or take any of the dye I tried to use. Must have been the type of fabric. So I had to brush it gray, took a lot of time. You can see the greenish tone sometimes in the pics, but as you can see with the flash... it's gray as Hell. :lol

As for the neck connection... I found that out the hard way when I removed it. :monkey2

But I've got it reconnected and working again. Did not expect that to happen, that's for sure. Scared the Sh#t out of me. :lol

That is truly stunning work Josh, the Ash head, the Anakins kill, Obi is ON. And that Church armor and scars are insane, that dude has kicked major battle ass and looks ready for more!

You are indeed on a roll my Brother and we are now done! Yes!!!

And you nailed my Hudson helmet! The HT cloth cover was always too light and you dirtied it up to perfection, Josh the master weatherer strikes again!

I recommend ANYONE who wants their Aliens marine gear, armor and BDU done right to send them to our Boy Josh. This is the most accurate Hudson Helmet I have yet seen, and the darker wash is damn near film accurate and the camo pattern still comes through nicely. Great wash Josh, can't ask for more Bro, congrats.

It's amazing how much of a system I have now for Colonial Marine armor, clothing and Anakin repaints. Took some time but I know I could do this over and over again and keep the quality level up!

Just curious,but are SS's heads (Anakin and Obi) a little on the large side? The Medicom Wolvie head looks to be quite smaller and I don't think it's the neck making it look so. Are SS's heads a little out of scale?

You know, Miles?.... I agree... Something I have notice over the years... SSC heads are just a tad too big IMO. Wolvie is perfect scalewise, despite being smaller. Hot Toys are damn near perfect all over, height and head size. SSC stuff tends to be a little bit oversized... but the clothes do make up for it.

I guess when they are all lined up like this... it does look a little odd. :rotfl

Well, the Hicks head is still finished... like it was in the last shots I posted of it... and the locks are just about finished. Should be ready by Friday. You wouldn't think they would be hard, but silver and bronze paint seems to be thin and take a million coats to cover...:lol

You should try to track down a 1/6 Shatner head somewhere that might work? Maybe if SSC ever picked up a 1/6 Classic Trek line.

HT T 800 Body, Outfit, Weapons. Get one!

Lonnie Hale FL Sculpted T 800 head with cut out eye

Hurricane light up eye conversion. I sent him the HT T 800 head with light up eyes and he transplanted the LED into the FL head. Hurricane used Stan Winston reference Book photos to tool an actual film accurate metal eye rim... Hurricane also extended the neck sculpt to match the HT head height (very important)Unfortunately the wires pulled loose from the Power source so I have to send the head back to Hurricane along with my 45 longslide which he is installing an LED light...

Head repaint: DarkArtist. A truly magnificent job.

Me, too. While digging through the thread I found another great Josh Obi paint job.

Yep, that's mine gdb, I think it was the first job Josh did for anyone on the board. The first head he painted, Not his first order. Lots went into that, I was very demanding with him too, wanted shades of reddish blonde, etc. There are about 5 shades of color in that beard... amazingly beautiful.

It's crazy to think how far Josh has come yet he did that first Obi with such skill and heart. I remember when pics of it were posted here and on OSW and it was a major crowd pleaser.
