Goon mold is complete... doing a clean up of the casting now. Also putting together of Roy bodies and Myers bodies. Preparing to attack them as well. Just cast all of my JVIII heads and most of the Roy heads as well, also casting Jason masks and TDK Jokers too. So HUGE casting day.

Will also be doing some dye work later as well, maybe I will do a huge shot of all of my crap lined up. :lol

Thanks for the overwhelming response guys! I love how it came out too, took many many coats to get it the way I wanted to. Thes pics still don't do it any justice at all. But I will take better ones next cycle. And nice composite shot Tay, great tribute to what amazingness has come from this whole Pre Dark Knight buzz. Having the chance to paint up that sculpt was a dream and I cannot tell you how much better Les' changes have made it. Anyone who ordered one is going to FAINT when they have it in hand. :lol

As for the Joker project, thanks for the quick response. I am doing a lot of dying, and painting of Jokers to try and get them out by the end of July/ early Aug at the latest. I want to get it to the fans while they are still jazzed up by the film. :rock

this head is Les Walkers work . :D
This actual one is painted by Josh ( Dark artist ).
Its in 12 inch scale. He recently sold some casts for the head wich could fit onto a hot toys body ( or I think any of your choice if you ask him kindly. :) ).
I think hes stopped taking orders for the head now but he mentioned he may be going to do another set in the future and I think there was a list being made.
Hopefully that isn't full too !. :rotfl

This is by far the best Joker head ever, the sculpt and paint apps are both brilliant. I guess i don't have to worry about missing out on the HT Joker (if i will like the DK when i see it) because i would choose this one by far over the HT one. I liked your original headsculpt far better than the HT one aswell.

This shot totally screams interrogation scene, and not the makeup, but the expression of the mouth and eyes really conveys that there is much going on internally with him. I'm so glad I'll have one of Les' heads, Hot Toys Joker really should have 2-3 heads just from the trailers to convey Joker's many sides, but with Les's head an their own, I'll have a Joker than can be they psychotic lunatic or the calculating mastermind :rock

I definitely can. I know I will on mine as well. I'll leave yours like that too. I think it works better, leaves it in permanent shadow. The eyes never really show in the film, save for a scene or two... but lighting at home is hard to replicate for that effect... so Black eyes fix that. :rock

Amazing photos Yonose!! She is really my favorite female repaint of all time, I'm just so very happy that she will be loved in her new home. 3 Jokers are being finished as we speak and 3 more are lined up next. I updated a lot of the clothing, including the socks... so I will take shots of those changes to show the improvement.

2 Myers heads are done, 3 more will be haired soon and on the bodies. Natrix' Anakin is almost done and 3 Roy heads are about done... just need masks to be dremeled. So far I have only done 1. FVIII Jasons and Dream Jasons are on bodies and ready to be sprayed down. The VIII heads are being painted as we speak too... so lots of movement on the horror front.

Also trying to work on very very late commissions for DK2K, Bwayne, The Josh and Metaphorge, so those are moving ahead as well. Once I get those caught up I can proceed on the rest of my pile.

But, it's moving much faster. In anticipation of my SDCC time off, I am burning the midnight oil and busting my butt to get the stuff out to everyone. So thank you all for the continued support and patience with my tardiness. I owe a lot to you guys, you keep me going.

I also reorganized my entire collection room this weekend, the Wife and I got some more tables and moved things around after we got the HD TV... so I will post pics in the gallery as soon as I actually have time to take any. :lol

Amazing photos Yonose!! She is really my favorite female repaint of all time, I'm just so very happy that she will be loved in her new home. I stumbled across a PERFECT sculpt for the H2 sculpt, it was amazing I found it. It's just a slight rework and that's it. The nose, mouth and eye placement could not have been better. :rock

I just sculpted half of it, it's in the oven as we speak. I will finish the other half TONIGHT and post pics of both heads, as well as the Joker updates and the almost done Bale head for Vader. :D

I'd say another 30 minutes and it will be posted...

Hmm, now you've got me really curious, a different head works out great for Warlock Michael, I look forward to seeing that, and hopefully learning what head it developed from. I think that's a great gift of yours Josh, you don't just transform what's already there without a different paint job, you can find something in an existing sculpt and make it something totally different. Both of your Joker's are astonishing transformations from heads that had nothing to do with the character. It's like Karate Kid, Bonzai come from inside, with you, a head sculpt is just a raw tree and you prune it to something fantastic.

That is a pretty cool way of putting it, the Bonsai analogy... It's something I really learned from Les, he opened my mind to the possibilities of sculpts that already exist. To take something that is entirely unrelated and find features in it that, if changed, make it into something you really want.

Funny thing is, both times this has happened... I never could find another of the original heads. They both were one time finds, just lucked out. Serendipitous situations, the both of them.

I can't wait to show it to you bro, it really did surprise me.

Josh, Michael's looking sharp, I may PS an image with proper hair just to put him in context. Something about having some hair and it being the style it is throws me off a bit looking at it versus your bald shots of the H1 in progress. Of course when years of watching Halloween burns the Myers silhouette in your brain, the slick, combed look of the base head you're using is interesting to see.

So is there an identity to the base head or just something you came by?

And Chapuchi... As for TDK... Saw it twice already... FANTASTIC film. Now stands as my favorite comic movie of all time. Ledger was more than I could have expected, his performance of the Joker was exactly as it should have been. Everyone else was amazing as well, really nothing bad I can remotely think of. Badass movie.

And in honor of that badass movie, I wanted to show you guys what I have been doing over here. I've been updating my Joker customs to get them better and make the extra time everyone has been waiting... worth it.

I am hand painting the socks, working to make the tie better as well, better shoes, striped pants, better chain and a better inner coat. I put my Les rework head on there to show how it will look as an entire figure. Enjoy guys!
