it is : 12.0" H (304mm) x 4.0" W (102mm x 4.0" D (102mm)*

If this set is the same as the Thor's it really will look nice next to my Doom statue :D

The Archive sets are 1/4 scale - so it IS in scale with the Doom PF.

Best thing about it is that with those air conditioning ducts going into his gloves, his hands will never get hot! (It's like that PS2 controller I used to have that had a fan built into it so your hands wouldn't sweat.)

After a slow start,this serie is really getting good now...love the design of this one..the way the hands reaches for the mask makes the pose of this set really dramatic almost poetic.....:monkey2

They are different takes on the Doom mask, but who's to say that Victor doesn't have a different mask for every day of the week?

I think it looks pretty cool and will go great with all the other archive sets.

Look how long Patient Zero has lasted (still up for non-attendees with no low quantity alert), and he was also 1000 pieces, half the price and had a lot more buzz. You should be able to snag a Doom without too much hassle. Good luck!

Yeah, I had to bite on this one. Didn't think the Cap one looked all that cool and totally missed out on the Thor, but this one'll look good next to my Exclusive Doom and his throne.

I'll be interested in seeing how the sizes match up.

The scale is also 1:4 so it matches the Doom PF perfectly. It also helps that this is also a Gore Group sculpt so both pieces will complement each other quite well. The Doom mask is not exact but the detail does match the Doom PF as you can see by the crest (eagle with the "D"). It matches the one in the head rest of the throne.

Man is this set sweet!!!! The gauntlets and mask are made of metal and are very heavy for their size, and the base is solid polystone which means it ain't light either!!! One of the best Archive sets yet!!! :chew

Got mine yesterday and it's truly awesome. The paintjob is great, very detailed sculpt and heavy metal guantlets and mask. Interesting composition as well. This one is a keeper, only 1000 made.

It doesn't say "Dr. Doom" to me. And no, I don't mean they should have a name plate on the bottom of it. The display needs some heavy green color in it somewhere. Other than the distinct design of the mask, this piece could be sold as just one more armored fantasy character. I'm amazed that after all the work that goes into producing the pieces that things like this get overlooked.

This obviously was created as a compliment to the Doom PF. They may not straight out come out and say it but that's what it is.

With that in mind, I think it works for what it is. I am not collecting the Marvel Archieve line but this is must have item if you own the Doom PF.

if you get the doom bust exclusive you'll get a Dr. Doom nameplate so there you go. for those who don't know who he is, you're right but for those who do i think it suffices. but as always it's personal preference.
