Here is 99% of my current statue collection as of 05-24-06: JS's COLLECTION

The pictures were taken going counter-clockwise around my office, but
when they're uploaded to a gallery it throws them all out of order.

I've got much more coming in soon, and absolutely NO room to put it.
I've got a WETA Venatosaurus Bust that isn't on display, but all else is
out and in the open. The only things not shown are my 7 Mogwai, my
3 foot tall Shrek & Donkey, and my 1/3 scale Spiderman Statue which
are all in another room. As you can see, I like a LOT of variety.

I'm going to be adding new shelves in other rooms, and also replacing
many of the 12" deep shelves you see with 16" deep shelves, as most
of the statues I'm getting now are too big to fit on the 12" shelves.

Thanks very much for looking!

JS :)

Very cool collection, but what would appear to be a dusting nightmare! :google

Who's That Lady?

Who's the winged creature directly under Seven-of-Nine, and duplicated again to the left between Wormtongue and Dr Doom and directly undeneath...underneath...who's that up above, the blue fairy?

Man, some interesting mystery figs, JS!

LOTRFan - Yes, dust is tough sometimes, but the room is very clean so it is kept to a minimum.

ST5 - Yes, PITT is one of my very favorites. Too few busts and statues of him unfortunately.

GOB - Under 7 of 9 is Soulfire Grace by Aspen. There is a regular edition, and
a platinum edition - I've got both, as they feature different paint colorations.
Both are beautiful though.

The blue fairy you're referring to (I think) is the 1/3 scale Abe Sapien Maquette.
I just got that yesterday, and it is certainly a tall sucker! :google

JS :)

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you on the Pitt issue. In other note, what is that Iron Giant Statue made out off?

The Iron Giant is plastic. It is the "Ultimate Iron Giant" toy that features
light up eyes, moving mouth, and sounds of 3 or 4 different movie phrases.
It is long sold out, but is on Ebay regularly. Not too tough to find one.

It is the closest to a statue ever made of the Iron Giant so it'll do the trick for me.

JS :)

Jim, you'll have to make some place for the gray Hulk soon....

Shai - You bet yer @$$ I will! :D :D :D
In fact I'm going to have to put up a brand new shelf just for Hulks!
SS Grey Hulk
SS Green Hulk
Hard Hero Green Hulk
Hard Hero Grey Hulk
Bowen Hulk
Attakus Hulk
Diamond Select/Marvel Hulk
She Hulk
Savage She Hulk
Custom Keown Hulk

That plus tons of "Things" and "Rhinos" to face off against said Hulks! :google
I'm seriously hosed for space at this point, as I've got Gen. Grievous coming
next week and also Predator on the near horizon! Woe is me! :rotfl

Bodie - You've got a helluvaneye! It is indeed straight, and I straightened it.
If you look at the box, it shows the bust with a straight arrow. I thought
that my bust was packed wrong and it just bent the arrow, so I heated it up
and bent it back straight! Well, I found out that it was supposed to be bent,
but I still contest that due to the box picture, and I also like it better straight.
How the hell could it gonna go through his head with a totally backwards tip?
It wouldn't bend that way on exit either IMHO. It'd more likely snap off.

Thanks carbo! I'm going to have to put up some brand new shelves before I can
add any more, so that is my current project is to get more room for all the new items.
I don't like cramped displays, and mine looks pretty damned ugly right now IMHO, due
to the items being too close together, and also being all over the map as far as not
following a logical pattern of display - LOTR, Star Wars, Bowen, etc.

:google Whoa!!! Did I read that correctly??? Did you say Custom Keown Hulk?!!! How? Where? How much?? You have to tell me. Big Keown fan here. :google

thats really cool to see the size relation of so many figures.
thanks for sharing.

where is that White Witch beside Abe from?

Yes you are most definately hosed. I would imagine we all wish we had the same problem. A most excellent collection here! Lots of stuff out and not cluttered. Each figure stands out quite very well. Just stock up on the canned air and small dusting brushes.

Nice.

I thought you had even more pieces for some reason.

How about some far shots?

Also, with so many nice pieces, you should install some lighting to really make them stand out.

Great collection man...
...though definetely a dusting nightmare I imagine.

ps. Not sure who asked above, but I think there's a Keown Hulk commission currently going on on the StatueForum. Not sure if this is the same one as JS's but it sure looks like it will be a good one...

Keown Hulk Commission

ST5 - If you like the custom Keown Hulk, you should see the
custom PITT that I'm heading up that will match him...........

Occ - Thanks! The White Witch is from disney.com in their
collectibles section. They just had a sale last week and I snagged
one of her because I love my statues BIG. It looks fantastic.

Ice - Hosed I am! I'll be adding new shelves soon to handle the overflow.

Azog - whenever I find time to primer and paint the big fellow.
I've had him for months now, and just haven't gotten to it yet.

dun - Thanks very much!

Gru - I can only back up as far as the opposing wall unfortunately.
Lighting would be nice, but I'm too cheap for that. :lol
They all look good with the ambient sunlight through the blinds though.

rev - Luckily the room is very dust-free, so they all stay clean very easily.

Thanks very much for the comments everybody! :chew :chew
