Hello All,

We will be upgrading to a new database on the website in which all customers will be assigned a customer number. For those that are returning customers you will have a Preferred Customer number. Please make sure that AITO has the correct email addresses to email you all on this information once it is set up.

We are building a section for customers where you all can go to a login page once you are logged in you will be able to look up your shipping information, what items have shipped what items have not shipped and also when items will be shipped. You will also be able to look up the status of your pre-orders. This section will be updated weekly. There will be a contact email address that will be in there that you all will need to use to cancel pre-orders and or request refunds, or if you need to exchange an order. You will be able to get into the login page two ways with either your name or customer number.

This is taking place in hopes that emails will calm down a bit, as there is no way one person can keep up with the status of volume that is coming in. We are in the process of hiring an employee that will help AITO so that we can somewhat stay on track and my job is not too demanding and so that things will not keep falling through the cracks. This will be a local customer/collector that we have in mind already. We are working hard on keeping good customer service. This is in no way will compromise the integrity of how we give returning customers the "Red Carpet" We will send out discount Codes privately and also in the customers section on the site we announce all the specials we have going on that is not available to the public. Returning customers of AITO will always have first shot at any new items coming in.

Shipping schedules have begun, we are at the moment setting up a great deal of shipments that are going out this will keep things smooth and hopefully on time. With the holidays coming up we want to make sure we do not have another delay in shipping's like in the summer clearance sale. This will not work! Shipping's will go out at the moment once a week. We use 2 carriers and if you are international you will need to state which one you want to use. UPS or USPS. For USA customers our default carrier is UPS. PLEASE keep in mind we are a small online store, we do not have a warehouse full of stock inventory and as soon as we stock it is gone or before it is even in here it is sold. Orders are placed every week with our distributor and turn around is three days.

My apologies to all the customers that have not gotten an email back in the 24 hour time frame it is a little hard right now but we are getting things under control.

Any questions please email, call, or reply here!

THANK YOU! :)

That sounds great Shannon...I was wondering, have you considered making the customer forums at your site readable to the public? I'm sure that would help those who are on the fence about doing business with you...

Great idea Shannon! :yay

Can't wait for some of my ordered stuff to start shipping!

For international customers (like me) it would be great if you guys could have a more in-depth explanation of the differences between the UPS and the USPS services, i.e. one is faster but costs more, both come with insurance etc. etc. You could have a little about them in the shipping section perhaps?

Also, how do I get access top the forums on your site?

Cheers,

Aran

I would reeeeally like to make it public but I think that it would leak out too much in the aspect of non returning customers not getting a good deal. For instance I just did a phone sale for a guy in Fla. and he was really not happy that he was not given the discounts that returning customers were. I told him he has purchased and if he returns to us then he will be given the same as most of you all. He was still not happy about it and tried like hell to get me to give him NOW a discount. So in fairness to you all and what the community really stands for a place for returning customers to have a place to come to for contest and non public info before it is released on the site. It would be best to keep it private. Just to save me the headache...:( You can not please every one but we here at AITO can try and accept it when we do not.

The only difference between using UPS and USPS for international customers is not only the price but it is a little easier to pass customs and fees. I have to be careful everyone we are being watched very closely by others and they are waiting for me to make one mistake and that will be all it will take. Not that we are doing anything wrong or illegal but as you could see from the other board well...it would not take much. I will make a post in the customer community on this as well.

Prehaps creating a public testimonial forum where only customers can post their experiances might be a possibility...I just hate seeing people still questioning your company's credability...

Yes, i know, but it is the private forum for customers...I'm talking about making a small public viewable-members only testimonials forum so people can see first-hand how reliable Shannon really is....

LewisD this is a good idea and one I could put into place. I do have a .asp forum that worked really well on another domain I owned.

Thanks for the great tip!

We now have a public forum in place which is ran directly from the website. ccb25 will post the direct link once it is complete. Thanks for the idea LewisD! ;)
