After seeing several pics of Jedi Luke that people had modified by adding foam around the hip joints to fill them out better and tucking the pants into the boots a bit more I decided to do the same. I managed to fill the hip joints out OK but I removed the boots and now can't get the damn things back on. I've tried putting them in boiling water for a bit to soften the plastic but they still won't go on properly. Can anyone offer any advice on how to solve this?

also try a hair dryer... it worked on one of my custom military figures.

Set the boots in the hothothot water to let them soften. Then point Luke's toes downward. You may have to take off his jumpsuit to make sure the joints are facing in the proper directions for his toes to be able to point down (make sure you put the jumpsuit back on before putting the boots on, though.)

Toes pointed, and boots softened, start putting the boots on and carefully, but forcefully work the boots onto him. You may have to actually squeeze and shift the feet inside the boots to move them into the foot area. Push up on the soles to make sure they meet the bottom of the feet.

If that doesn't work, hit it with a hammer and maybe Sideshow will send you a new one. :lol
