Glad to help Dave.
The only issues I've had are the two we talked about. The Broken link and the fact I'm a moron and couldn't figure out that the word ba-nner was messing stuff up.

I have my thread subscription prefs set to instant email notifiction. But, when I was posting with jlcmsu earlier today, I didn't receive any notices. Would someone or two please reply to this thread so I can confirm or deny?
Thanks!

Thanks, jlcmsu. It's been twelve minutes since you posted your reply and no notification on this end, yet.
Are you or anyone else experiencing this problem?

With as many posts that would get notifications I haven't and probably won't use that feature.

A prudent choice for you, jlcmsu!
Definitely not working for me. I was receiving notification before the rebuild, however.

Yeah, I'm a blabber mouth so I would be getting them all the time because of myself :p

It probably has something to do with the email restrictions on the new host. I'll have to look into it.

LOVE that feed panel on the home page! So many of our folks (to include me :p) get darned lazy about checking directly with SS site for news and info and continually ask the same questions to be hand-fed the info. Now they can get direct access on this site. Whatever deal you and Sideshow cooked up --a WONDERFUL idea!

Yeah, I like that. I tried messing with that on my own and got lost so thanks for doing that Dave.

I have been running it threw with a Mac on OS X and OS 9 so far so good. I have not ran into anything that has caused a problem. Even the chat works.

Dave: dunno what happened (sent you an e-mail too BTW), but I'll tell you the symptoms.
- tried logging in the normal way, and was kicked into my Yahoo home page with the following message on it: "POST requests from foreign hosts are not allowed." Tried 2-3 times.
- as a lurker, I clicked on your name to send a PM. It promptly asked me for log in. And it allowed me to do so.
- BUT, cannot get into chat and many of the navigational buttons show a red X.
