SW 1/4 scale vader vs old ben-what else?

sideshows poses for vader and old ben were based around
their battle scene in a new hope
will they be doing the same thing with other statue in future
like obi wan for grevious battle scene
also could this influence the choices of characters made
in their 1/4 scale line

It's not a bad idea, but unlikely. I think that is what the 12" line is supposed to be for. I honestly don't like facing them towards each other because they look so amazing I want to see them straight on.

i was thinking that some famous duels would make for some nice poses
for future statues.i would like some more companion piece.
i know what your saying though.
it seems a shame facing darth-old ben towards each other,
but on the other hand it can give you an alterative way of dispaying them

There are a lot of characters that I'd like to see before they start doing repeats though.

I can maybe see it with Maul vs. obi and qui. Yoda vs. Sidious is also a good idea. Perhaps a Jedi Luke that could face off with the Vader we have already.

I had Ben and Vader facing off, but then changed it as I felt like I wasn't "seeing" the pieces as Iwanted too. Be's face sculpt is so good and I like Vader looking towards me so I can see the statue better so now I don't have them facing off anymore.

I don't display my Obi and Vader facing off, so call me selfish but I hope they don't do Anakin and Obi facing off, personally I'd like to see Anakin (Darth Vader presuit, sith eyes, whatever you wanna call him) either in the pose as he is entering the Jedi temple or with his lightsaber pointing down (don't really know how to describe it) instead of up in an attacking or defensive position. *ducks rotten vegetables being hurled* A vs series like with the Marvel line sounds wonderful though!

dooku vs kenobi.the list could be endless.sideshow have a great chance to do something different from any other company.i hope with this new diorama

IMO that is what the 12" line is for. I like the stand alone pieces of the PF line.

The thing I love most about the PF's is the detail. I don't want people to not see how amazing he looks because he's turned to the side. All but Obi and Vader of the first seven announced are stand alone pieces. I like the idea but I don't want it for every piece. It works great for Obi and Vader because they look amazing on their own as well.

I'd like to see a SW vs series as well. However, I'd love to see them keep up the being able to pair pieces up like with Vader and Obi-Wan. Sometime down the road I'd love to have a Mustafar Anakin vs Mustafar Obi-Wan from Ep3. I think that would be very cool. Maul vs Qui-Gon would be another that would rank very high on my list of PF piece duels. Sidious vs Yoda is yet another one that I would buy in a hurry.

I guess at the rate of PF's it just seem so far down the line that's why I'm thinking the vs more for the 12". We'll have Mustafar Ani vs Obi after SDCC.

My vote goes to Yoda vs. Sidious. I just loved the fight when in the movie. A young Obi and Anakin vs. Dooku would pretty nice as well, but highly unlikely.

I guess it really just depends if we get a VS line out of SW from SS. It's great with Marvel, and would be very intersting with SW or even LOTR.

That Anakin pic Mini-Rock posted is pretty close to how I envision the PF Anakin. Having the vs. is really nice, but I agree with Loki, having them turned sideways seems to take away a little bit. Now if I had the ability to have these out in the middle of the room where people (ahem me) could walk around and view them from all angles...that would be so beautiful I wouldn't be able to turn anything down, space be damned.

Ironically I was originally tempted to get Vader and Obi because they could be facing off, but decided against getting both and one without the other seemed lacking. Then the PF Obi came out and it was so beautiful I had to have him, which then made me decide to get the Vader too. But I just didn't like them facing each other. I had them that way for about a week, but finally decided I prefer it with them both facing out. The funny thing it, now it looks like Obi and Vader are getting ready to fight side by side against someone else.
