I was just checking out the MR blog and saw that they have a lot of production photos of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. I'm glad I have my Code 3, because this will be a little out of my price range.

No doubt it's going to be impressive, but it's going to cost a fortune and where the hell would you put it?

Well, of course... you just shrink yourself down and get to work on that bad boy... With a few years of work... you just might be able to fly a few feet...:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

Expensive and huge with no place to put the box. I'm hoping it's $5K so I won't even consider it. But if it's around 2K....

(lack of self control....that is the TRUE way to the darkside....)

You just put it right in the middle of your collection room. I want it so bad, how much do kidneys go for, I'm fairly healthy I think I can get by on one. It'll probably be $2,000~$2,500, but a case for it will probably run ~$500+ shipped.:chew :chew :chew (I just love this smilie and feel I should include it in all my posts)

Impressive. What are the dimensions?? I don't collect any SW figures except for Sideshow but I wouldn't mind getting this one.... if it's under 1K:lol .

It's gotta be close to 3 feet long and 2 feet wide based on Code 3's dimensions. An easy pass for me.

...Actually if you're referring to the photo at the top of this thread, I believe that's the FINE MOLDS MF for comparison, NOT the Code 3 version. At any rate, the MR Falcon will be 32" long and aroun 24" wide...same as the ESB filming Falcon model...so yes, around 3 feet by 2 feet!!! That's HUGE!!! The size of a coffee table!!! Where would anyone put it?...on their coffee table I guess! :rotfl

Oh, and carbo-fation...I hear it'll cost between $2,500 and 3,000!!! WOW!!!

That's fine because I'm more than happy with my Code 3. They are going to price this out of many collector's range.

Yeah, that's way more than I'd spend.

The MR Millennium Falcon Studio Scale will be 32" in length and 24" across. The pic next to it is a Fine Molds Falcon and to get a relative size across, this is a Fine Molds in someone's hands:

Now look at this pic again to get a relative size:

http://masterreplicas.com/pub/falcondevelopment4.jpg

Its from Empire and will have a sculpted base ala the Y-Wing for it from that corresponding movie. It is not expected to have a case like the Y-Wing either. Early estimate predict it to run around $1980-$2000. Shipping will be the killer here, so will tax for folks in NY and CA...Master Replicas had to paint a Fine Molds model and get approval from LFL before proceeding so the paintjob on the FM is what you'll see on the Falcon...

That being said it WILL BE the definitive Falcon model and I can't wait to get one, I've been saving my pennies since its initial annoucement last year and have had to pass on a ton of stuff to get ready for it....

Good for you Mike. I hope you post pics when you do get it. It'll definitley be an attention grabber. Way out of my price range and the size is a killer too. I guess there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
