Very nice looking! I'm not going to tell you what I thought Manips were.

:lol

Maybe I should have been clear. It's photoshopping (though I'm using Photoshop Elements).

I might have to go through the hi-res pic thread for more SS stuff. :D

Looks really awesome! What software are using for the effects?

It's Photoshop.

Really it's quite easy to do lightsabers, most people don't realize it.

Here's a tutorial on how to do it with After Effects (a video editing program) and Photoshop (image editing).

http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/postproduction/sabres/sabertutorials.asp

You can cut out the characters from the image by using the Polygonal Lasso tool in photoshop or by using the Extract tool availible in versions CS (8.0) and CS2.

I use Photoshop Elements 1.0, so my technique is somewhat different. I guess I'll do my own tutorial some day. :)

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought "manips" was a new contraction that had been invented:

If not, then maybe it is now... :google

*sigh*

Do I need to change the title, or can I do that this late?

EDIT: Can't change it. Oh well...

I really like this one. I made it my wallpaper :D

I don't think it's big enough for wallpaper by itself, but if you figured out a way to use it, that's cool. :D

I keep forgetting people might want them as wallpaper, so they're all strange sizes. I might redo some of the most viewed as wallpapers someday.
