They haven't told us yet how they will be made available in the US. They seem to have hinted that it will not be through Star Wars Shop, so my guess is an e-mail to the Collector's Club followed by a sale on their regular website, with a lot of crashing servers. But nothing's official yet...

That's my guess as well is that they will be sold through the GG Collectors Club. Folks that ^^^^^ about SS PPO and the servers being slow wait till you go through GG. This ain't gonna be pretty.

I have no experience myself, but I have heard stories about how GG's servers handle the pressure.

These stories have come from people wearing straightjackets in padded rooms...

I hope ordering won't be too bad. The problem with GG is that they give no notice. You just get an email when they feel like letting everyone know. At least I had no problem getting Salacious Crumb. I'll keep you guys updated if I hear anything.

They also sent out an e-mail alert when they had some International Maul statues in stock. They were sold out by the time I got that e-mail, but luckily I heard about it through a thread and got my order in. But will I be so lucky next time?

Shame to only get "half" a figure of something so cool. If it is 12" scale I could see some industriuous customizer using the GG top and the bottom half of Marmit Stormtrooper to make a complete Blackhole trooper.

I think GG should take notice from SSC and fix their atrocious site and collectors club. I joined about a year ago, but every time they have another bust that is released I get the email too late and they are already out of stock.... Every bust I've ever purchased came from friends or ebay. It's ridiculous and I think it could be handled much better...

As for this blackhole Stormtrooper... as much as I want one... it won't happen. GG will contact me too late and it'll be gone... and with ebay pricing as it is... Not in the cards.

The bust is now over $500. I tried to order the C3 sandtrooper last year and that was a mess. If it goes up at a known time it will not be pretty, but at least we all still have a chance to get it.

Yeah it would be nice to know when it will be up as then we know we will have a chance. In some way I am bias because after the 22 I am going to be completely free and can live in front of the computer if need be. However, I will probally go for a jog or a swim and then come back only to see it is sold out. I just hope the majority of these guys land in hands that really want them and are happy to have them for their collection.

I will be honest if I could type fast enough then I would probally want it to go up at a known time. I am not worried about my computer or network being slow. I am worried that it will take a few seconds to long to get my personal info in and I will be passed. Wait I guess I should be practicing typing so I can rack out 100 words a minute. 10 times faster then my regular speed in fact it has taken me way to long to write this post. JK :D

I ordered Hooked on Phonics, the keyboarding edition, but just does not seem to work.:D I suppose you will be typing through the GG website at a record rate. Then there I will be mis spelling my name sixty times then punching in my card number wrong and before you know it the site crashes.

If there would be an understanding between collectors "not to show any interest to this stupid exclusives", than I believe than marketing strategies would change dramatically.

I only buy this crappy stuff. such as 0.45 scales, gold versions...etc. for selling to other people to make money. (Altough blackhole stormtrooper looks cool)

the reason I am buying statues, busts etc is that I love movies and comics and love to see them on my table shelves office desk..etc.

I also do not understand the reason of the bronze statues. What good is a bronze vader or conan? they did not fall to a liquid bronze pit in the movies or comics right? :D

A chrome blaster is less meaningful if Han Solo never actually fired a chrome one in the movies, books, comics, games, etc. I think that this is seen as a new character (EU of course) and not just a repaint. The different clones coming this fall are all the same basic sculpt, but the paint jobs make them different characters.

Some people are viewing the chrome 3PO as the only TC-14 they're ever gonna get. The Blackhole Trooper also has a different and unique weapon, I believe, which also sets it apart.

I know it's not the same but I bet you can buy a regular Stormtrooper Bust and have a really good painter paint it up to look the same for a fraction of the cost. :wave

I only say that because I really want one but sure ain't going to spend $500+ on it. FYI, there's a bunch listed on eBay right now for $500 BIN.
