If you know a Club Mez member or wish to join yourself, they are planning on selling the exclusive through the Club site as well. Maybe another alternative. I had to get the Scissorhands from last year, seriously thinking about this one as well.

I've never needed to hunt down a Mezco exclusive before and I'm curious about what to expect.

Yep! Though besides that and the makeup... not much difference between the two. Subtle changes.

Still, I have to say that I love the blood on the hands... very well done.

I knew he got the axe at the end but figured because it WAS at the END, a pt. 4 Jason would be a better way to market this figure. I guess it all depends on what the face looks like (if the mask is removeable).

According to their emails, there will be no preorders for Attendees this year. But Club Members will have a one week advanced preorder with an in-stock guarantee. Of couse, I didn't have any problems getting the ones I wanted last year, but this sounds like it will be a whole lot easier this year.

I believe they will be available at the con, but not sure how many. They started preorders for club members last Friday and through this Thursday those preorders have a guaranteed availability. Any orders placed after Thursday are not guaranteed and are good only while quantities last. So I'm sure they have set a certain amount aside for direct sales at the con, just not sure how many.

I believe all orders, no matter if they are from ClubMez or Mezco Direct, will be shipped to the buyers. Unlike Sideshow, you will not be able to just pick it up at the con.

I missed this part. I ordered through ClubMez and thought there was a limit of 1 per person. That definitely should have been consistent across the board. There was really a limit of 12 through Mezco Direct? That's crazy.

The difference, as I understand it, between the Club Mez and the Mezco Direct orders is:

If you place your order as a Club Mez member during the scheduled order period, you are GUARANTEED to get one no matter how many orders are placed. If you go through Mezco Direct, it's limited to a "first come, first served" basis.

It's entirely possible that they could oversell on the Mezco Direct pre-orders and have to cancel some of the later orders.

Club Mez fans were limited to one becasue they were gauranteed a figure and the shipping was free as well as getting a free Mezco figure with it as well. So I guess Mezco decided with free shipping for Club Mez members that they couldnt afford to ship more than one piece for free and end up selling all of them to just the club members. Nobody on the Mez boards seem to be all that angry about it.

Yeah that's what they are saying on the ClubMez board, what has me nervous though is that the ClubMez orders were supposedly shipping a week before the Mezco Direct orders. I ordered mine that first day through ClubMez as well.

I opened him up up my Jason and I couldn't be happier! I never bought a Living Dead Dolls anything before so I wasn't sure what to expect. There's no articulation to be heard of other than shoulders and legs, but that's okay.

I just got mine today.... a TOTAL surprise.... as I never got any notice at all... But still... a pretty nice one nontheless.

I'm much more happy and impressed with this than I thought I'd be. He's gonna be a nice part of the collection, I don't foresee myself boxing him up or anything. If you are a Jason fan.... you have to get him.... Not to be missed... :D

Thanks Chase! Yeah, I'll probably add a little blood and gore here and there, just for added effect. Probably add a little bit of paint to the face to "ghoulify" him some too... I'm really impressed with it though... awesome toy! :D

Well, I got bored.... so I repainted the eyes on my LDD Jason. I also bloodied him up a little bit to make it a little more exciting. I repainted several areas on the face to give him a little more depth, but it's not a full repaint. Anyway.... Enjoy!

Thanks King! Yeah, I was going for that insane Jason stare. The production eyes had these wierd dashes and no color in the lens. It just looked a little off and needed to be fixed. I layed about 3 or 4 layers of different shades of green on top of that to get the effect I wanted.

And the blood was fun as Hell.... :devil But, then again.... it always is!
